Also if you are using windows 10 you can set a different magnification level just for that screen to make the text a bit larger

I'm pretty sure you should be able to get it to run at 1920x1080 if you fiddle with the settings on the TV

I had the same issue with my tv at home, I had to change a setting on the tv to get it to work properly, but I can't for the life of me remember what that setting was. If you are using an Nvidia GPU you should be able to use the desktop resizing utility in nvidia control panel which will sort of do the same job but give you a strange non standard resolution, not sure in AMD has a similar tool because I'm a Nvidia fanboi lol

I use the Intel power management widget in Spiceworks, nice and easy to configure and works like a charm. It also gives you a nice little display of how much money you've saved, only shows in USD but it's still nice.

The Division looks pretty good, I've not played it yet but I'll be buying it come pay day.

I only just noticed while going through my 2000+ unread messages on gmail that I had been given closed beta access to Fable legends, not even had a chance to play it yet

I went to the General Atomics Galleria a while back and got my ass kicked by the Mr Gutsy in charge a few times, he asks if you've come to take over and when you say no he kills you, when you say yes he asks for ID and when you can't produce it, he kills you. I figured I'd come across a ID card at some point in one of the other General Atomics locations and then go back there but I don't think I've ever found anything.

Are you using a wheel? I was using my G25 until it decided to fry one of the chips on it's PCB, It really does add to the experience, I'd highly recommend it if you get a chance.

I suffer for mild dyslexia and I find that I can read words and the central letters will be jumbled, nowhere near as bad in that example and they don't constantly move about for me. Strangely enough though I did find it quite easy to read that page, maybe my brain has conditioned itself to solving the jumble.

They adapt well apparently Personally having 4 kids myself I can see that my youngest is more of a practical learner, he doesn't cope well in a traditional classroom environment and really doesn't get a handle on things unless he's doing something practical to learn it. I like the idea of this and I think that for children that find the mainstream learning environment challenging this is a great alternative.

I've never signed our school up to it but I went to https://portal.office.com/start?sku=faculty and entered my school email and they accepted it, maybe because our email addresses end in .sch.uk they are pre-approved.

I think I'd happily pay around the cost of a new console for it but £600-£700 is way too much IMO

Last game bought: Firewatch Last game completed: Firewatch Not a very long game but beautiful, I really enjoyed the experience, there was a lot of walking about but when it's this good to look at you can hardly complain and it only tends to make you walk somewhere if it's the first time you're going there. The story was great and the voice acting was absolutely perfect, you really felt you knew the characters by the end of the game. A lot of people think that the ending was a bit of a let down but I didn't have any issues but that may be because I didn't just blast through it without paying attention to the details. Great game, If you have the chance to pick it up I'd highly recommend it.

is it split screen AI terrorist hunt? I'd be happy with that at least.

Really disappointed there is no split screen couch co-op in this game like previous R6 games, was really looking forward to playing it with the mrs, at least I noticed in the shop and not once I'd got it home.

That is the exact same line I use when friends and family inevitably say "Why did you buy that?" I do love piling money in to an old banger too though.

Just a quick update in case anyone else ever has this problem and finds this thread, it's all fixed now, basically the solution involved booting in to safe mode, opening device manager and selecting show hidden devices and the uninstalling anything that showed up as being greyed out. Once I'd done that I then rebooted the server and it was running normally other than the NIC team which was still playing up so I deleted the team and set that up again now all is well. and @localzuk keep an eye on your speed going down hill, the cruise control doesn't slow you down, I've fallen victim to that twice already and I'm only level 4, the police are savage, 3 mph over $1000 fine

I have a Soundblaster live 5.1 sat at home that doesn't have a driver that will work with windows 7 or above and every time I look for one everyone in forums keeps saying "don't you have onboard audio?" it does my head in
