  1. I bet you’re… ticked off
  2. That’s it. It’s been a few years since I used RMMC and couldn’t remember the correct term. Might be worth doing, I found doing that sometimes solved weird build issues I had.
  3. Have you tried regenerating the build image and putting the new copy into WDS?
  4. Your local Apple Store might actually be a good place to talk to. They will have a business team who will also know a bit about Apple’s education offering. It used to be that they offered field trips to the Apple Store to do creative experiences using the products, I don’t know if that has resumed post-COVID but worth asking.
  5. Hmm, given this is coming from Blue Origin, I have serious doubts about this happening. BO are all talk/litigation and nothing major to show for it (See their contract to provide engines to ULA for Atlas rockets that is severely behind on due dates!)
  6. I don't have experience with InTune for managing Macs, but when I used to manage them at my last school, I used a custom profile to set the dock up. There was a great website I used for generating them, https://techion.com.au/blog/2015/4/28/dock-master where it would produce a .pkg or a profile that could be installed.
  7. Great read! I see you have had similar amounts of success that I have. My main concern now is whether my unsupported machines will be offered Windows updates, but on this month's patch Tuesday yesterday, my unsupported Surface Pro 5 did, so I think this shouldn't be too much of a concern for now!
  8. Chunk is my new spirit animal.
  9. Exactly what I've done, seems to work absolutely fine this way. Hardware that isn't officially supported, on the other hand... well it's possible with some fiddling!
  10. I have been running Windows 11 build on my totally unsupported 4th gen i5 Lenovo E73 for over a month now. Windows Updates are tricky as I have to manually install them but it works! Did image one of our new 8th gen Intel laptops we got from @ICTDirect_Dave in the summer with the release build in MDT without issue today. Fun experiments are encouraged in my role!
  11. Just come back from a soggy afternoon at the Kingsway Tram Subway tour (part of London Transport Museum’s Hidden London series), an interesting look at a bit of London’s transport infrastructure I didn’t know a huge amount about! Was also nice as I have a distant family connection to London’s tram system. My great-great-grandfather was a conductor on the trams around Camden/Kentish Town back around 1900!
  12. Had exactly the same issue here. Think we managed to find a workaround by adding the network manually and using your normal settings. Not sure why it works that way and not when you just tap on the network but just android things... [h=1]¯\_(ツ)_/¯[/h]
  13. Have you made sure the certificate is still trusted in the Certificate Trust Settings? Settings > General > About and it'll be at the bottom.
  14. Not seeing anything here. What sort of things are you seeing there?
  15. Good, one less printer in the wild. Glad the mouse is out though!
  16. If it’s a font that just installs to the font book, then I can’t see why it wouldn’t just work straight off the bat on M1?
  17. I've known people to dip the chips in the chocolate shakes too (I may have also have done this once), it's not as awful as it admittedly sounds. But I wouldn't make a habit of it, I'm not that strange!
  18. Have you checked your filtering system logs to see what requests are being made? As the previous poster mentioned, Oculus is owned by Facebook so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was calling out to Facebook servers along the way somewhere, even if the Rift doesn’t currently require a Facebook account.
  19. That’s a Wildcat, a development of the Lynx helicopter. Saw one come over the park by my house a week or two back, cool to spot!
  20. Mine arrived today, thank you!
  21. My parents who I was with for most of the day on Sunday don't appear to have been pinged, which puts it down to one of two performances I went and saw independently of them in the afternoon. Ironically, the one it was most likely to be from is The Vaccines :D
  22. The precautions themselves seemed fine, I guess the problem is where people were taking liberties with them. Sadly all too easily to pretend you've had a negative lateral flow test. Or that you just weren't showing signs at that point. Ah well. I think the risk is still quite low, and I don't for a second regret going to the festival.
  23. Just looked on the app, the contact was on Sunday, so while I was at Latitude. So much for protections being in place to get in.
  24. Womp womp. First ping on the COVID-19 tracking app. Surprised it hadn't happened sooner on one of my jaunts into London. Timing was good, I had literally just got on a train to go down to Salisbury!
  25. Sorry, I have had my hand forced into pulling out. As I got on the train this morning to come down to you all, my COVID app told me to self-isolate. Would have continued but popular opinion was not to.
