That doesn't have inbuilt GFX, unlike intel which does (well 90% odd do) the main Ryzen line up doesn't (Bar their Ryzen/Vega lineup). The graphics isn't from the mobo it's from the CPU.
-
Honestly, it does sound like faulty hardware. I would say it's either RAM, CPU or the MOBO. Have you managed to update the bios to the latest version? If you have spare parts that fit try swapping some out even just for a few mins.

I love my switch! So much so that it's replaced my xbone as pride of place next to my TV. Highly recommend one.

Disabled WoW player's guild pay their respects at his funeral
DalekSec replied to LeMarchand's topic in Gaming
Played WoW for many a year (worked out i had over half a year in playtime.....ahh regrets) and i remember a lot of tributes like this. One was when a well known user of a realm died the whole realm came out to pay there respects, nearly crashing the server! When i die i fully expect a march of Dalek's behind my coffin shouting exterminate at everyone! -

Are you O365 or Google? Or other? We are using Skype for business as we use O365 here along with the Logitech Group Video Conferencing kit: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BL9JAQ8/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Hj.yCbJBXXBYX

I don't get a macOS device when i want one, but the Music Dept do. Just because IT don't have one doesn't mean other people can't! Teachers should all have a device which is the same, in our case Surfaces, only 2 teachers have different which are higher spec surfaces as they need more power. I had a surface and couldn't stand it so i'm over the moon with my Laptop. I agree that desktops are easier to fix but that doesn't mean they are better. Also if we tell staff to use their own devices to do school work on it how long before they have student data on unencrypted devices? About as long as it takes for them to get home and switch on their computer. Also as a techie i must prefer a laptop to a desktop for the simple fact of easily going around site and doing work on it. Yeah we could have a laptop we use (did at old place) but there always some software missing for it or w/e, most of the time i just ended up using RDP from my phone to my desk. Where as mine is simply unplug from the dock and awaayyyy i go. I honestly believe from a teaching standpoint a mobile device is better than a desktop. More tailored setup on the 1:1 setup, staff can have the software they need installed on it and not having to install it on all the PCs they might use. We have the same setup in every room as well to make it as seamless as possible, Surface Dock with the projector and monitor coming off it. Obviously it all depends on budget but i can't imagine a Laptop being that much cost difference to a Desktop (with a monitor) these days. -

Our teachers like displaying wireless around the room and have to work from home a lot, laptops (well surfaces atm) are the only option. -
I posted about this while back not knowing whats causing it but have now found the culprit. We have the Bonjour relay service setup so student ipads on one VLAN can airplay to the Apple TVs on another along with other bits and bobs. What is happening though is apple products on any VLAN are automatically renamed to something like Macbook (2) then when it's restarted (the device) it goes to Macbook (52) and so on. When the relay service is turned off, it doesn't do the renaming but it does when it's turned on. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

Hi All, As the title says has anyone setup managing macOS from intune? Currently using Mosyle which i love (although LDAP has stopped working atm and trying to figure out why...) My manager wants everything (including ipads and macs) managed via intune so looks like i'm gonna be taken kicking and screaming from Mosyle which does everything i want to Intune... which doesn't. Don't get my wrong intune is great for Windows from what i've seen but seems to be lacking A LOT in the apple dept.

We use Surface Docks for our surfaces (Surprise surprise as they don't have USB-C *shakes fist at Microsoft*) Our new laptops we use USB-C StarTech docks, had trouble with them flashes on the monitors though... still no fix i've found! -
My guess would be 22Gb free after system apps and ready installed apps. Checking on my iphone it says i have 30GB used on system!

I wouldn't say i would say, Ryzen is way better than any current intel line-up for multi purpose work loads, content creation and just general useage. The only thing intel has going for it at the moment is high per core speed (which is useful for some tasks such as Gaming) and thunderbolt 3 support. If you want a decent price/performance ratio Ryzen is your friend. I've had the 1800x since it's come out and since then have recommended Ryzen to anyone planning a new build. I don't see why anyone would buy Intel other than for single core work loads like gaming or the need for thunderbolt 3, (or Optane lollums)

Currently using Mosyle for iOS/Macs this doesnt do Android etc. Android devices are on Intune and we are planning to move across iOS and Macs also.

Is the mac domain joined? You can get software that makes it a lot neater but for 1 mac it's a bit overkill
