  1. For this simple reason: It's taking up real estate on the beer aisle, meaning less space for ales i like
  2. Unsure if going to BETT next year will have to check
  3. I've had a bit of good news today, i'm getting a replacement for my Surface! A proper powerful(ish) laptop! Still not as powerful as that beast but you can all now rest easy that my power hungry needs have been met.
  4. Well done winner! It couldn't of been won be a better spinning cube
  5. In todays most bizarre edugeek thread.... Why have Pale Ales suddenly got so popular? I mean their not bad but i much prefer a proper ale like spitfire or any of the badger line-up (Bar Fustey Furret as it makes you smell and you can taste weed). I've already got a few Pale ales around xmas and i do drink them and they are nice but i'm just wondering why the sudden popularity? My local Tesco (small one, local shop for local people there nothing for you there) has one huge unit full all different pale ales. From the nice ones such as Brewdog to the WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ones where they stick monkey hair or something stupid in them. Maybe i'm just getting old and just prefer old normal ales.... i'll go sit in the pub corner putting Oasis on the music box and sob into my trooper beer
  6. Not that there is anyone around me but i can do lifts if needed also
  7. I have one question, is the winner Human?
  8. inb4 whens the video
  9. Self inflicted, no sympathy
  10. Could tommorow be the end of a life long struggle with underperforming work machines. Probably not but a man can dream! Good luck everyone and remember , if you win I’ll hate your guts. But then again I’m a Dalek all I do is hate.
  11. 1- Don't be optimistic 2- See 1
  12. Whats this 'bonus' you speak of?
  13. Just seen on app store requires iOS 10 or later.... arrggggggggggg
  14. All our iPads 2s have chrome installed, none now seem to work they just flash up the symbol and close the app. Anyone else have this problem with iOS 9.3.5? App is fully up to date according to the App Store and I've revoked all restrictions from the device and tried it on a hotspot and it still doesn't work!
  15. Ninro Edit: Unsure if you're aware @MrMat Edugeek also has a Discord server, bunch of us who play together regularly on there
  16. I got an email asking if i wanted to join their Discord, to which i have!
  17. More info, we've noticed when a new wifi client joins the IP address of that client is then populated across all already connected clients in the controller. So all clients are showing as the same as the most recently connected device. What makes this weirder, is this connected device is currently connected to our existing Ruckus network, and is on the other side of site so is not connecting to the Unifi testbed....
  18. REVERSE REVERSE! Nope it's stopped working again, have 10 iPads connected all coming up as same IP address....
  19. Oooerrrr Glad you got it sorted! Fixed!!! We think, everything seems to be working as it should now. It was DNS, our student wifi network was missing the Reverse Lookup Zone for the network. Unsure why, guessing Ruckus doesn't require it! Inputted one and now it's seem to be ok. Thanks for all your help
  20. I can't see it being the DNS on the server, as we've rebuilt the unifi testbed to another VM and only recently turned it on. I'll give it a go none the less! AC-Pros Do you know what the issue on the DNS was? So i have somewhere to start digging
  21. Hi All, We have this strange problem at the moment on our UniFi test bed, when connecting to the wireless it goes through and picks up an IP address on the correct vlan for the user logging in, but a lot of the time in the controller the IP address is different to what is on the machine. To add to confusion i added another machine and it picked up the IP address that it said the other device had wrongly, but the new machine had it correctly. According to the controller both devices had the same IP address. E.g. Macbook currently ip 10.13.3.32, on the controller it reads 10.13.1.98 Windows device connects, it's ip is 10.13.1.98 and is the same in the controller.... This is on a WPA Enterprise network with an assigned RADIUS profile, let me know if you need any other info. Thanks Dalek
  22. Just saw Linus's video on it: Seeing as it's £10 off with his voucher so £17 for 1st month i thought i'd give it a go. Thing that sold it for me most was using it on Mac not for gaming as such but heavier work loads, just gotta wait for activation to come through now! Edit: just seen you had a referral code... my bad!
  23. On a food tasteing course!
  24. Well the 3rd party updater isn't just an updater. It's firstly anti-malware and has been extremely useful at spotting things that Defender doesn't pick up. https://heimdalsecurity.com/en/
