Smash smash with Mr Hammer, and then spread to each corner of the globe. Only to be reunited when one is dug up and a UV light is on it.

Had to cancel my sub :/ My main PC went pop over holidays Plus the main reason i got it was so i could play games at my missus's without having to log around my heavy gaming laptop, but unfortunately her internet is too slow for shadow to work :/

UniFi Controller 5.9.29 detecting wrong IP
DalekSec replied to DalekSec's topic in Wireless Networks
Both DNS and DHCP are set as mirrors so both have same settings (bar obvious stuff like its IP) with the clients spread across both so i'm guessing its Failover with split scope?. I just noticed in one of our DHCP servers it's missing the server option policy for the router while the other one has it a policy setup. Could this be a part of the problem? We could try running with 1 of each but i'd have to persuade my manager to give it a go! -
UniFi Controller 5.9.29 detecting wrong IP
DalekSec replied to DalekSec's topic in Wireless Networks
We have 3 DHCP servers, 2 of which are on the same network as UniFi and 2 DNS Servers, both on the same as UniFi. UniFi is in our main environment. -
Anyone use Aruba? just seen and it and doesn't look that bad

People who were in the credits go back into the pot? Honestly, another pot with same names is the most straight forward and fair way imo

UniFi Controller 5.9.29 detecting wrong IP
DalekSec replied to DalekSec's topic in Wireless Networks
I totally agree, but my manager thinks its UniFi and i can't seem to turn his head! I posted it on the UniFi forums and had no replies -
Just had a look at Meraki, my god its expensive. $150 a year on top of the AP price! for $150 you can buy a decent UniFi AP and don't have to worry about licenses

+1 for UniFi, but it does have downsides. Limited to 4 SSIDs, VLANs attached to RADIUS assigned SSIDs cannot be on another SSID. Used UniFi at old place and at home. Looking at moving to it at current place but ran into the above problems (we are thinking of an SSID overhaul anyway) but that main problem we have is this: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/wireless-networks/202220-unifi-controller-5-9-29-detecting-wrong-ip.html
