The Windows Store as changed.. now you need a login.
DalekSec replied to chazzy2501's topic in Windows 10
Had this issue with Windows 11 on my Work PC, having to push apps out via Intune each time. Which for testing is a bit of a pain! -
Firstly, I'm hoping you mean GB or you're about to have a bad time! Secondly, a general rule of thumb with RAM is not to mix sizes. Ideally all the same size, speed etc. In theory yours should work (Depending on if you brought the right RAM) it might just not be overly happy with it and run at slower speeds or not the full amount.

Theatre Camera directly connect to TV

HDMi length if direct would be less than 10meters also, not a worry if we did have to go down that route. -

Cheers all, currently thinking is a Unifi G3 with a Viewport for simple 'click on this input to view' for the teacher. -

Theatre Camera directly connect to TV
DalekSec replied to DalekSec's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Thanks guys, just had a look this morning and first thought was a Unifi CCTV Camera and the Protect App / Viewport for the TV. Does require network cabling though which could get pricy! Will look into the options you guys said also! -
We've had a request from our theatre manager to have a TV in a room off the stage that has a live view of the stage. I know we could stick and IP camera and a PC with the view on it. But he want's it basically 'Click on input X shows camera' and that anyone can use it. Also we have basically 0 wired networking around there! So my quest is, is there such a camera where we can plug a HDMi into it, and plug the other end into a TV and it shows the feed? Don't mind having to use a remote control to turn the camera on and off, as will be on a lighting rig! No audio needed

What age of children we talking? We're a secondary but do have a sister prep school if I need to send for younger ones. Not willing to sacrifice too many, being a private school they are paying my wages after all!

Hi All, We've had it on our job list for awhile (well 2 years now...) to upgrade our Printing Server from 2012 R2 to 2019 (too soon for 2022). Has anyone done this? or any tips? Normally when we do server replacements we do a fresh install but seeing as we have many printers, print deploy, universal print, mobility print etc. all setup I'm not so sure my heart could take it! Papercut are good and have a guide on how to move them all across but it's a lot of work and I hope that doing a upgrade straight to 2019 will be a lot less stressful!

After few years of faithful service, I’m selling my gaming PC and moving to a MacBook, i don’t really game anymore and want to focus on video editing using Final cut. It’s a very capable gaming PC, only thing I’d suggest is a CPU upgrade, the motherboard can support up to current Ryzen. The spec of my setup is : Ryzen 1800x + AIO Corsair Dominator 32GB 2666Mhz MSI Gaming Trio RTX 2080ti ASUS ROG 470-f No Storage Gigabyte AX WiFi card Elgato 4K 60fps streaming card Corsair 1000w Modular PSU with orange braided cables Mucho RGB NZXT Case ASUS 4K 60Hz gsync 28” Corsair k70 lux + Glaive + RGB Mousemat (Dalek not included) No delivery, only collection (From South Somerset) as i would guarantee it would break in transit with my packing ability! I’m not breaking down the tower to sell, but monitor etc i can. Asking for £1600 for the lot, any questions feel free to DM me

Hi All, Have an issue not come across before and no luck in fixing. My work laptop, which is Autopiloted, I moved the SSD from one device to another (Both the same laptop model). When i moved it across it first complained about TPM, so i cleared it and it was fine. Now have 'Activate Windows' in the bottom right of my screen. I tried the troubleshooter and selected hardware change, but it asks you to login with a Microsoft account (which my work one is unrecognised). Anyone had this issue before?
