My daughter uses a Lightning to HDMI adapter when she wants to watch Netflix at her mum's house. A quick read of the reviews on the Apple site, suggest it's iTunes movies that don't play via the output not the other way round.

A print signed by Paddy Hopkirk and a bottle of Vodka. -
Can you not cut/modify the case a little to get the power lead to line up ? Alternatively there is a Seasonic SS-350SFD, maybe try one of those ?

I had been shown the internet in '98 so in March '99 i bought my first PC. -
I have an Epson 7600. Dye as opposed to ink so UV resistant for 75 years. Costs about £1 per meter when printing 24" wide.

Have you tried another power supply ? If it is caps on a 2010 PC it's more likely in the PSU than on their motherboards after they paid for using poor quality back in 2005, they started using better quality. Some of the caps on the motherboard might be marked KY or FM ?

Sadly JVC are now more Vestel cr@p. I started repairing TVs a year ago and nearly all of the no name TVs are Vestel. Some of the old well known names too, such as JVC and Toshiba. The power supplies are made as cheap as they possible with flaws in the design that almost seem like they are designed to fail. I'd personally avoid Currys and look in Richer Sounds. They offer a 5 year warranty and their staff usually have more of a clue.
-
Avoid the Digihome. They are Vestel TVs which are notoriously cr@p.

When CPU-Z is showing SPD speed that is not the speed of the memory but the default speed it knows it can run the memory at and thus boot. I wonder if it's showing it as PC-10700 as the frequency is 932Mhz which is 1864Mhz which isn't quite the 1866Mhz which would be Pc-15000.

It depends if you are LLU which isn't throttled. Sky Unlimited isn't throttled but Sky Connect is. https://torrentfreak.com/is-your-isp-messing-with-bittorrent-traffic-find-out-140123/ Whilst Sky say there is no shaping, in their terms and conditions they state they will take steps to maintain their level of service on their network.

Sky do throttle some P2P, not all but some.

I have one of these on my workbench at the moment Thermaltake - Global - Level 10 GTS - VO30001W2N The bulges on the side i thought looked a bit weird, but they are quick release hard drive caddys. A neat idea but the case is about twice the price of your Zalmans. This PC is running an AMD FX-8350 and just has the stock cooler. One fan on the back, one on the top and one blowing over the drives. I'll run heavy load in the morning and see what temperatures it gets to if you like.

Only if it looks nice, is over priced and only tastes right when you hold the glass in a certain way.

Maybe worth putting in a warranty claim if it's new. The alternative is flashing the BIOS on or off the board or replacing the BIOS chip. It might be worth disconnecting the BIOS battery for 10 minutes or so to see that helps.
-
Strip it down, it's possible there is still some moisture trapped inside or the mineral deposits are causing a short. Give any stained bits a clean with IPA. I've saved a couple of laptops with this method, including one that didn't boot at all.
-
You could try it with the hard drive unplugged and a different stick of memory, cpu if you have one. it does sound like a BIOS issue though, have you tried updating it again with a bootable USB stick ?

Indeed, perhaps there should be a second mobile "Police", fining the smokers, mobile phone users, those that drive around with their fog lights on and those that have illegal number plates. And are parents really that thick or ignorant/desperate for their nicotine fix that they smoke in an enclosed space with their kids. I am a smoker but have always kept it away from my daughter and don't smoke in my car.

Winamp ? Plays Shoutcast streams brilliantly.

If you haven't already, remove the drive from the caddy before trying to recover.

So you're using a different input now ? from the looks of the manual the microphone input is -60dB and the aux is -20dB which would account for the difference in volume, that points to the mic input circuit as faulty.
-
Glad you got it fixed.

Here's a link to the manual if you don't have one https://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://www.hannspree.com/HSPV3Images/Downloads/HannsG/HE-Series/UserManual/HE195ABB/UserManual_HE195_EN_V1.0.pdf
