I've tried that from an Office 2003 CD, and installed only the Equation Editor.. it completes ok, but does not appear anywhere in Office 2007. Is it possible to add components from different versions of Office? Not something I've ever tried before, as I just assumed it wouldn't be...

Staff are complaining that the version bundled with 2007 is rubbish and want to know if they can have the previous version of Equation Editor from Office 2003... I don't believe this is possible is it?

Ok.. If you use Web Access (browse to the IP of your virtual centre and log in to Web Access there), select the Server you want, and in the right hand pane there is an option to Generate Remote Console URL, with some options for limiting views.

You know you can generate a URL for direct connection to the console for any ESX hosted server, right?

I don't believe that any of the current hypervisors can do this, as the underlying hypervisor O/S needs to see the card to be able to hang virtual switches off it..

Sounds fun!

Seems it's a re-branded Mitac, and I was able to download an iso of the driver installation CD from the UK MItac website... but it still got the wireless drivers wrong! Still, found those seperately, so all done now.

They can.. they just have to type it in instead. It just stops the OP's problem of them selecting everyone and spamming the whole school.

Best solution, and what I have done here, is to create different Mailbox Stores for staff and students, and deny the students access to the staff address list. You can then apply rules as you see fit to the different groups.
