Yeah there’s always 2 underscores before it, also need to stick a dot after the first 2 numbers, but now I’ve got the text book in and removed everything else so I have textbook123 I just need to insert a dot in so it will be textbook 12.3 also there are always all the same number of characters. I was thinking about script to count so many then insert a dot in. Andy

yepo i managed to do a search and get them all in to 1 directory.

I have files called ox_sw2_123_sp.pdf, I want to them become Textbook 123.pdf Is this possible using a scripts? Thanks Andy

i have a problem i've done a clean install of windows 7. but now when i access any website or service that needs to access a certificate. it rejects it saying it is invalid. but they are vailed. because they work on other computers fine. just not my windows 7, my colleague did a upgrade from vista to windows 7 and his is fine. the error is "this certificate cannot be verified up to a trusted certification authority"

We have 755s and 760s and sx280 the 755 and 760 have come off better because although the design is the same. We have the 755 and 760 in all in one form which, is where the base unit sits behind the monitor and has a cage over the cables so kids can't remove them. although some kids stick paper clips in the fronts of the base units, because of the design there is a front fan there. though this is very rare

most new dell PSU's don't come with the switch anymore.

but both USB slots work with other usb pen drives

@ tech_guy yes it works on other PC's and on the base unit of the one in question. the other sticks work and it won't when plug in by itself.

We have this Dell monitor which is not recognizing all usb drives plugged in. well it will connect to all, but the persons Kingston usb stick. It’s one of them dells which have a cable from monitor to the back of the PC usb. Any Ideas?

try an .cmd file with "gpupdate/force" as the code. do test the code first, as that was just out the top of my head so could be wrong.
