  1. I'm using ProvisionHost for Website hosting, a VPS and a Minecraft server. Really happy with them.
  2. Grab the LDAP browser from here: Softerra LDAP Administrator & Browser: Directory Management Tool for Windows and point it at your DC. You should be able to work out what the Base DN is for your user accounts. Once you've found that out open the properties of a user account and you'll see all the user account attributes. Correct as nessercry. If the above doesn't help you might have an authentication issue. Either the user account/password MRBS is using is wrong/inssufficent permissions. Or your DC might require you to access LDAP via SSL/TLS. But basically if you can get the LDAP browser working with the same settings as MRBS you should be good to go.
  3. is your base dn right? also the user attribute should be sAMAccountName surely?
  4. This would appear to be a more widespread issue as it's being reported on by the general tech news now. Apple's iOS 6 stumbles on basic connectivity: Wi-Fi | Apple - CNET News
  5. Not so! Justice Points - Currency - World of Warcraft
  6. You need to change the 'relayhost' setting in /etc/postfix/main.cf. Either comment it out (in which case postfix will send mail directly) or change it to a working relay that you have access to (your LEA SMTP server or whatever).
  7. I still have half of townlong steppes and all of the dread wastes quests to do too. But at least I can fly now.
  8. Dinged 90 last night. Was immediately dismayed by the amount of dailies that popped up :S
  9. yeah it's got an AMD Turon II in it.
  10. You can stream from FreeNAS 8.2 and up (via a plugin) using DAAP to iphones/ipods/ipads etc. FreeNAS - Browse /FreeNAS-8.2.0/RELEASE/x64/plugins at SourceForge.net
  11. Surely if you're using iSCSI then you just let a Windows server publish the iSCSI targets as shares, thereby avoiding the whole AD integration?
  12. You need at least one POTS for to handle emergency 999 calls.
  13. +1 for DIY. Build a box from standard PC components then put your favourite Linux distro on. Either FreeNAS if you want it to 'just work' or something more generic like Ubuntu Server if you want to fiddle.

    Openfiler URL

Network Manager needs to be running. Try and remove networkmanager lock file from /var/lock/subsys/
  15. I still have a combination of ISDN30 and SIP trunking. Increasingly the ISDN30 is only being used for backup purposes though. If you have reliable Internet connectivity there's no reason to use POTS and be stuck with one phone provider.
  16. Here is my referral link. I get free stuff, you get free stuff. Everybody wins! http://giffgaff.com/orders/affiliate/evilgrin
  17. My bad, it's 3Gb/day. Cheapest Goodybag with Unlimited Internet is £10. Unlimited Mobile Internet with a goodybag - The giffgaff community
  18. Heh, Wifi coverage ftw. Also, 1Gb/day data plan
  19. I just dinged 89 on my main last night. Taking it slow and steady and enjoying the journey, just like the panderan NPCs keep telling me. I got my tanking trinket from Coren too, so that's nice.
  20. Taunt isn't subject to diminishing returns it is however on a CD (8s for standard taunts). So I think that's where it falls down.
  21. There are raid bosses that depend on a similar mechanic. Usually a tank gets a stacking debuff that will kill the tank if it gets to too high a stack level. Thus an offtank needs to taunt it off the main tank until the stacks drop. If you try and keep a mob constantly running between tanks like that though it will evade and reset or ranged dps aggro will overtake the tank threat (because the tanks arn't hitting it). The only other similar situation is when you have someone kite, which doesn't really come up much anymore. There were some rare spider pets for hunters to kite in the molten front in the firelands patch and the BWD raid in the cata release had some lava worms that needed kiting on the Magmaw fight, but other than that I'm struggling to think of anything else.
  22. raid bosses are immune to CC.
  23. I generally don't taunt in those situations to teach the silly dps a lesson.
  24. I'm the main tank for my guild progression raid team. I play as a DK. It takes me 3 GCDs (3 seconds) to get any appreciable threat on a raid boss. Many mages have found this out the hard way.
  25. All of these are explained on the guild forums, I'm not going to paste those posts here as they run to multiple pages in total. 1. EP point awards are quantified. The are awarded for obvious easily identifiable things like killing bosses, turning up 15min early, staying for the whole raid, etc. 2. The only addons we require on the RT are some kind of boss mod and the epgp loot addon. 3. We require you to be able to listen to voice chat, not speak (unless you are in a role in the raid that requires it, such as main tank). Many of our guildies don't have English as their first language so they can speak/listen a lot better than type/read. It's also quicker, some people like their raiding to be efficient if they can only devote a small amount of time to it per week. 4. Raid consumable prices are the way they are to stop people sponging of other peoples good nature, it's happened to us in the past and it's caused drama. We tried the carrot, we're now using a stick.
