Hmmm, now I feel bad that I don't have any Industry Specific Qualifications, but I have been working in the IT Education industry for 11 years (since my 19th birthday) so I must have a bit of experience. Although I do have both FITS qualifications :-) they are the most useful thing I have ever implemented.

Well last night (after much frustration) I completed Isolation. Now all I want is a sequel :-)

The ThinBooks from veryPC run them fine, we have 170 of them which run solid works and AutoCAD (which you can get a site license for free now) running on them and it all runs fine.

That's what we do, we have small nettop PCs which are wireless enabled and connect back to the server. We found this much cheaper than most other solutions on the market.

I have only just purchased a PS4 last week, and I got Destiny (which I haven't played yet) and Alien: Isolation with it. I have been out of my gaming practice for quite a while and this game is terrifying me like crazy, but it is great playing as someone trying to survive a singular, super evil, xenomorph that just tracks me down and kills me with no remorse.

I am still leaving workgroup manager on my snow leopard Xserve with all its storage but I might get a MacMini server for the newer features but not too sure about migrating workgroup manager.

Oh I am not doing a student roll out yet, I will let staff use it, but for students I will update the image, and they have iWork on them already so it should just update those ones :-) They are already on Mavericks due to neading it for the latest version of Logic.

Was a bit quicker at home. Then at work but both DLd within 30 mins Only thing I have had to do so far us update Apple Configurator. I need to find out how to get the free iWork now.

Well I have upgraded my iMac, did the setup, then I had to give it one final logout and back in once the setup had complete to get it reestablise all the network mounts (have to do this if I leave it in standby over night anyways so no biggy) All seems to be working :-) Including my windows V<

Still not available on the UK AppStore. Going to have to wait until tomorrow :-) Question is do I risk it on my work machine with its AD integration and automatically (centrally controlled) mapped network volumes.

AD Integration issues, we have run Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion and Mavericks on all of our MacBook Pros without an issue, although we do have a last generation Xserve running Snow Leopard server still doing the machine management :-)

Waiting for it to be released in the AppStore to try it on my home one, giving it some time before I do the work one
