Hi Everyone When running windows update, im getting code 80200053 errors specifically for .net updates. I have had this for a few weeks now and all other updates are fine. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

We use papercut NG here in our school and i wanted to know how everyone else who uses Papercut handles the allocation of the initial credits for students and staff? At the moment KS3 students get £1 from April - April and KS4 students get £2.20 and staff users get their allocation bases on last years usage. This however proves very labour intensive when students and staff need topups both for finance and IT. Many Thanks

We've tried for ages now and with no succsess. We will probably go with a payed piece of software if no one has any other ideas.

If i remember, i kept it on basic as the exchange server was set to basic. If you want to use NTLM then the Exchange server has to be set to NTLM also. I will check this though.

Hi Does anyone else use RM Portico? If so, can it go on an existing webserver? I tried installing it on our TASC Insight server (Parent Reporting) but for the life of can figure out how to configure it for external access. The Insight webpages are installed under the default website in IIS 7 and external access is https://insight.school.lea.sch.uk/insight. Internal is http://server/insight Portico can be accessed internally by using http://portico and has been installed as new website, NOT under the Default website in IIS 7 What im stuck is configuring it for external access as i thought it would be https://insight.school.lea.sch.uk/portico but this doesn't work. would both port 25 and port 587 need to be open between the SMTP server and smtp.office365.com?

Is it really that simple? i dont need to specify a smart host, or specify the office365 domain in domains? im just curious on how it finds its way to office 365?

Hi everyone We are moving to office 365 and i wondered if anyone has setup SMTP on 2008R2 to handle mail forwarding to office 365 mailboxes? Certain applications or software cant send emails direct to office 365 such as APC UPS email alerts or HP Insight alerts and i believe i will need an inter SMTP server to solve this issue? If anyone has done this, do know know of a good guide to setup? Many Thanks

Is it just SIMS, FMS and Discover that are migrated or does SOLUS3 and Intouch (if its part of SQL??) need to be done too?

This is what the the issue was along with setting the account as the onmicrosoft.com domain. Also with a staged migration, should it do an incremental sync every 24 hours?

Hi Everyone Im currently testing migrating an email account on exchange 2007 to Office 365 and im getting the error: "A valid primary email address [email protected] couldn't be found on the target." Ive done the outlook anywhere tests using the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyser and tests all pass except the last step of The HTTP authentication for NTLM. Basic will work just not NTLM. Does Office 365 need to use NTLM for transfering mail boxes? If so is that the reason why i get the above error when migrating and what do i need to do resolve it? Many Thanks

Hi Everyone I need to make a complaint against Capita as we have had two support calls that have been going on since monday and no one can give me updates on whats going on. I keeping calling them every hour asking for someone to call me with an update but no one does. Does anyone know the best way of making a complaint or who to speak to, to try and get things moving? We are looking at replacing a couple for projector on our Promethean AB+2 boards (the orange Sanyo Short throw ones) possibilly with the LED ones. What ones would people recomend? and would they or the mount have to be retrofitted? Many Thanks

Has anybody good a good guide on the steps to take to migrate from Exchange 2007 to office 365? Im just getting the domain verified at the moment and will be testing further once this has been done before migration mailboxes etc and making the full switchover. I will be syncing with our AD but but not using single sign on Hopefully this will saving me a heap of time and avoid potential problems if someone has a guide. Thanks Everyone.

I think i have found where the certificate is located, See picture. Is it safe to delete these files or folders?

After further testing, It seems that its only installing the cert after the computer is joined to the domain. If i delete the certificate after, run gpupdate numerous times, the certificate does not re-appear so where its pulling it from, is a mystery! Edit: Forget the above, Its put it back in after a few restarts!

No it isn't. I loaded the GPMC on the remaining 2003 member server we have to see if it shows up on this but no luck. Its really weird!

By process of elimination, the only place it looks like the certificate could be deployed from is the Default domain policy but again nothing is showing when editing the GPO.
