Hi I have a user using Outlook with her office 365 account setup and i want to add a calendar for a user that resides on a different exchange server. IS this possible? if so how can i do this? Many Thanks

Hi Everyone Bit more of a random one, I manage the IT for a secondary school, and the management of this school also run a charity that's has 2 separate sites providing education for disabled special needs children ( aged 16 +) The Charity at both sites also house some students and staff from the Secondary school most days of the week. Despite the school and charity being separate entities ( but under a he same umbrella) am I allowed for both sites to use and he same Active Directory and server and infrastructure?? Can the secondary school buy laptops and iPads etc for the charity? As the charity has to pay VAT I'm not sure if the secondary school is allowed to buy equipment for use on the charity sites? Hope that sort of makes sense

Hi On my Win 10 machines its recognizing the iPads as an Internal Storage device in "Computer" but when i open it, there is nothing in there. Does anyone know why this is? I have loaded iTunes on another win 10 pc and on this one it doesn't put it in "Computer at all! All i need to do is get the photos from it. Many thanks

Hi I have a user that has just got married and i therefore need to change their login name in AD. If i just change the users login name in AD, will it sync the change correctly to Office 365 or will it create a brand new user? If it creates a new user, what do i have to do to the existing user to match it up with the AD account? Many Thanks

Yeah sorry, I wasn't that clear. I mean allowed from a license perspective? The 2 organisations aren't part of a MAT. Tech support is provided by one guy who does both sites.

Hi everyone Im just about to cancel our LEA provided broadband and SWGFL connection and i had a phone call from the LEA (scaremongering i think) saying that currently the SWGFL is responsible for any penalties as a result of a data leak and and that govenors would be responisble if we went elsewhere. He also said that we would have to pay the Offcom licence fee that runs from April to April. Does all this see correct? Its the first i know about the Data protection leak and the Offcom charge!!!!! Yes So what would be the best way to do the startmenu shortcuts? currently for windows 7 startmenus, i have a folder in the C: drive call startmenu and i use folder redirection to point to this.

Ive managed to get the shell startmenu mostly working but how do i remove the Start Menu (Windows) icon at the top and list the Start Menu programs in the left hand side, not just in the All programs folder? Also is there a setting to remove PC settings? See Picture.

Just trying to save money on paper by printing duplex

Hi everyone Our finance officer is printing budget reports in duplex (printing all cost centers) and wants to separate each cost center onto a new page (maybe inserting a blank page after each cost center). At the moment, it will put a page break in after each cost center but will start the different cost center onto the back of an existing page of an existing cost center. Hope this sort of makes sense. The finance wants to do a single print run rather that print cost centers individually. Thanks

If i edit the template settings that are applied to a workstation, does the client need a restart for the settings to take effect or or should it apply with one?
