Is that macs i see?

I have had a look at the homeplug options but have heard negative things about them in the past. Had a look at getting an airport extreme as a new router what do you guys think?

Been given an iPad which needed updating to the new ios so i decided to use configurator and have it supervised like all our other iPads. I imported the 200 or so photos onto the mac using iphoto and then wiped the ipad and installed the new ios. Problem is i can not seem to get the photos back onto the ipad!!!! Any ways of doing this?

I can get an ethernet cable from the router up to the attic and then down into any of the rooms upstairs if that makes a difference on what i can do.

Just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice. I am with plusnet and have the unlimited fibre 76mb connection. The router that is supplied has terrible wifi coverage around the house. The house i live at has very thick walls and wifi coverage can be poor at times especially upstairs. The router is not in the best position either as it is in the downstairs office and not really in the middle of the house. Can anyone recommend me a good router which would help improve the wireless in the house or can anyone give me any tips on how to improve the signal around the house.

Like Brimstone said check that your mac is authorised in iTunes as that caught me out at the start as well and I could not install apps.

We have a mac suite at the school and lately we keep going down and finding out that kids are getting keychain issues. It turns out that they are not clicking "create a new keychain" option when prompted even though the teacher is telling them to press that one. Is there anyway of prompting the kids to press "create a new keychain" or getting rid of keychain all together. The macs in the suite are on mavericks but i have got a couple of spare macs running yosemite up in the office connected to the new osx server. Thanks

We are looking at this at the moment at my school. I have trialled reflector, air server and Apple TV. Apple TV seems the best but air server works well but make sure if you are mirroring that the devices are on the same vlan as the devices won't be able to see each other.

Right think i have sorted it now. Went onto itunes and looked at the devices connected to the account and it had automatically download apps to connected devices set up through the account so think that was the root of the problem.

I am using profile manager as my mdm and have ran into a slight issue. The problem is every time i download an app and place it into profile manager it automatically downloads to all the ipads. The app only says waiting until i assign the app to a group then it downloads.

Anyone done this before?

At the school we have got roughly 25 imacs in a music suite and then some more dotted around the school. We currently use deploystudio to image the macs and then bind them to active directory an open directory. We also use Workgroup manager for the settings. Now as i am using profile manager for the ipads at the moment i am thinking about moving the mac suite over to profile manager just for convenience. I have got a iMac which has got osx server on it and also have a mac mini to test everything on before i jump into changing the suite around. Would just like to know if there is any documentation around so i can get a rough idea of what needs to happen which covers these areas. - Currently having the keychain issue, searching around on edugeek this seems common but if there is a fix then that would be great. - Saving work saves back to there profile and not onto the mac. The server is based in our room so it is nice and cold in here anyway.

Can anyone recommend me a good mini fridge for the office

Just the regular outlook calendar which was set up by one of the teachers. The teachers then ask us to share the calendar with them using a home outlook account onto there phones and tablets.

The person who runs our school calendar moved our calendar over to outlook this year and so far everything has been fine and have had no problems. However at the moment the calendar is not sharing and when you share the calendar with other staff members the calendar wheel just spins and does not seem to do anything. We all ready have quite a few members of staff on the calendar and more want it on there phones but it will not share for some reason.

How do the kids go about installing the app?

We have this on our door.

Think you might have to wipe them and start again.

Right i re installed everything and it works fine. Apart from when i go to the client i get the regions white background which i do not want.

Yes I have uninstalled everything and will start a fresh with everything just to be on the safe side for now.

I uninstalled the xibo client but still can't get get my display to register on xibo.
