  1. No it does not seem to pick it up
  2. On our student wifi a couple of devices are getting this pop up box from google about data protection and a privacy reminder. However our filter is blocking it so kids can never get rid of the message. When i just add google.com into our complete bypass list it works but i don't want to add google.com into our complete bypass list. Any ideas? Thanks
  3. I use rise vision and it is very good
  4. Thats what i do with our 5 tvs. All the feeds come back into our office via ethernet then converted into vga and plugged into a windows computer running rise digital signage.
  5. Is that a good thing it is keepkids safe? I am just a bit concerned that no one else is using this product really.
  6. Think that's what we are getting. Just wanted to know if anyone uses it. I know it is a re branded version of keep kids safe but everywhere i look there is nothing about rsconnect.
  7. RS Connect Ed Does anyone have any opinions or use this product at school. We are looking at it but just want to see if anyone else uses it to see what they think of it. Thanks
  8. Get rid of the router ASAP!! It annoyed me so much. I ended up buying an airport extreme and it works brilliantly.
  9. Ea access sold the Xbox one for me
  10. Its a difficult one as she only advised on what we she should do. Its a difficult one to call.
  11. If they have given permission fine but if not ICO advised not to have images in school on display. She did say it is a grey area.
  12. She said it is a very grey area but advised not to as she says visitors could see them if they are on a plasma screen.
  13. Just spoke with the ICO and she advised me not to use photos internally for the fact of visitors seeing them.
  14. Yes that is the list that was printed off for me. Yes but a vistor may also see the pupil in the school during lesson change or in a classroom. The pictures on the screens have no names on them.
  15. I would not know. I can understand if the photos were going to be used outside the school it would be a problem but as they are stored on our server and then pushed to the tvs i can't.
  16. Thanks for the responses. A very grey area. In the office we think it is fine however others say that we can only use the kids given consent.
  17. Yes i have the list its 20 names per page and is 12 pages.
  18. Can anyone point me in the direction of some documentation for this from the data protection act. The photos we took only need to be used internally on videos for the plasma screens but just want to know what the regulations are for it.
  19. Casper suite Casper Suite | JAMF Software Got it in the summer and it is brilliant
  20. Yes down for me
  21. To be honest reading this it sounds as though you yourself don't like macs or apple products. The same way you criticised you NM and technician for not liking windows. Everyone has there preference for which devices to use. Macs just work and when they are set up correctly that is what happens. You need the right tools to set them up using products like casper suite and other software mentioned on here.
  22. Xbox one, look at getting ea access also.
  23. We use Casper suite for all our macs and it is brilliant. Can't beat the software.
