you get used to it to be honest. Was back in glasgow for xmas so had the snow and ice and sub temperatures. Put on a jacket and hat and turn up the central heating. Here, you put on some sunglasses and shorts and turn up the air conditioning.. All i have here is a crappy fan though, and its 32C still at 11:35pm, but its not uncomfortable. Football training in similar temperature was a bit tough tonight tho.. But leaving the office and being in the sea 15 mins later sure is a nice way to unwind after the stress of the new school year starting this week!

Ive got a mate here who has started working for a london based company. They have given him smtp/pop details for his new email account. Problem is his home ISP blocks port 25. They force you to use their own smtp server. This is fine if his laptop happens to be at home, but most of the time he works away from home, and so having the home isp smtp doesnt work. Apart from creating 2 seperate accounts , one for home using the local home isp smtp, and the other using the proper smtp, is there anything else i can suggest? The email for the company in london is provided by uk2.net ive searched their pages but cannot find if they offer an alternative smtp port to use - does anyone know this company and if they do or not? Cheers!

is it just the \Techsoft 2d Design\New Installation\2D Design V2.msi that I put in the Software Installation Settings in Group policy? Running that manually presents lots of options but putting it in GP doesnt seem to install it... Also, how do I deploy the .lic file too ? Edit, it seems putting the .lic file in with the msi works when doing a manual install.

we use the fireFTP addon for firefox. All our users use firefox already so it wasnt much of a challenge for them to learn to use this addon.

This setup is a bit tricky.. the mail email address is [email protected] but the actual website domain is webdomain.com so for OWA the login page is https://mail.webdomain.com and the local domain is somethingelse.local and the [email protected] is set as the primary address in Exchange. SMTP is already open and this is the way that it is currently used off site, but I want direct connection not pop/smtp or even IMAP.. Will have a read of your link and have a play, thanks
