I could possibly put money on this, the nForce chipset is shocking, appalling and should be avoided at all cost. Indeed, I have been able to remove cable, re-insert and DHCP lease provided, its even worse for statics, dropping connection and taking ages to register as well even with a static IP address. Macs got wireless? Got a spare USB wireless dongle? I can almost assure people, that trying another connection bypassing the crappyness of the nForce chipset and you're golden.

There is also a MIN/MAX idle test, as well as an emissions test with engine run at Idle and 2K RPM.

To be frankly honest the nForce chipset is absolutely appalling regarding NIC's I had no end of problems with a motherboard with the nForce chipset, NIC's would randomly stop, wouldn't register addresses, wouldn't show in network connections, dropped connections, eventually I gave up and ditched all nForce based chipsets, specially when it came around to NIC's, and haven't looked back since. On a more broad note, I found sticking other network cards worked perfectly fine, no issues at all. Might have to try that and see if the GPO's are still failing.

Cylinder Misfire? Had the same problem on my P reg. Would simply idle high, than low and cut out till you belted the accelerator. Root cause was found to be resistance on HT Leads, causing engine to misfire. New HT Leads, and new Plugs and bobs-your-uncle, all sorted.

Don't really have an idle to be honest, but what I do owe all my IT enthusiasm and drive to, is Windows 3.1. Growing up as a teenager, all I did was mess around with it, break it and fix it, that was the start of my draw toward IT. £133 for a 512kb DSL line. I still see the communications and telephonic industry are taking the country for a ride. £133 would get you a half decent 5:1, 10:1, 20:1 Business ADSL running at 8MB/s a month. It's a shame people are being taken along for a wild ride.

VDi = enterprise thin client model using the cloud as a host and servers as processing power. Or using local servers to provide the hosting power. XenDesktop, Vmware View and Sun Ray 4 are examples of this done locally.

I wish a software system was developed that would monitor an applications installed, and usage there after, I mean there are installation monitors to create packages, but nothing to follow it on from there, to monitor calls to folders, files and the likes and than create an export of the complete software package onto a new system. Would make life such a breeze, if changing a PC, you don't need to reinstall, you just backup the program and move it onto a new machines.

Calm down with your bandwidth there sunny You may not have much international space left I did find that amusing, paying around R700 a month for DSL at speeds of 0.8mb/s and only have 2GB of international bandwidth and unlimited local bandwidth. Had a similar problem with this, and for the life of me don't understand why laptops are now removing the screws to be able to firmly attach cables. I don't think you read the OP's original post clearly. I'm pretty sure he states Wireless connectivity. Although it is silly, its actually on topic and the information he wanted. And lets not say it's a solution, I never pointed that fact out, I was merely showing it can be done, and has been done elsewhere, if the OP decides it as an appropriate solution than the latency, infrastructure hurdles are his and not ours.

No one said it was the perfect solution did they? I was merely saying it can be done wirelessly, and lets not forget this isn't in the EU either.
