These are the 2 virtual host files I have created. If I have a basic VirtualHost file for the second server pointing at port 80 without any redirect everything works as expected. Is there a better way of doing this at all?

Afternoon, I'm setting up 2 different sites on a single Ubuntu 20 server. I have got the folders created and the permissions sorted. It started off being a server hosting a single development site which has a virtual host file which redirects all traffic to HTTPS. I then added another site to the server, again with a separate virtual host file again redirecting traffic to HTTPS. Enabled both sites, but the issue is that both URLs are routing to the same Document root folder of the new site despite the DocumentRoot folder being different in the virtual host file. Any one got any pointers on how to setup the virtual hosts or where I could be going wrong?

Afternoon, I'm looking at developing my IT Support team service. Currently running an osTicket helpdesk which is doing a job but looking to do a bit more. I've been looking at GLPI open source and have got it installed. Looks promising for helpdesk and asset management stuff. Just wondering if anyone else is using it and has some feedback and pointers on anything worthwhile with it. Cheers

Linked documents all appear to be fine. The backups all appear to showing the same as well. One student is showing an N code but when looking at history there's no record for him ever having a K code. However on the last census that the data manager ran that student was showing up as an SEN student. Really confused.

Good call, will have to go through a few backups probably though as no one knows when the data went missing. Shall have a look through today.

The overview box has dates in for the students but they aren't recent and generally only has the one entry for when it was changed to a N code.

So when I click on Status History it has no information in at all but in the Overview it shows that the code was changed to N, and this student has history according to our data manager. It is a problem that seems to be affecting various students records as well. Is there anyway or auditing any deleted information from the SEN records?

Afternoon, I'm not really any good at SIMS, can make sure things are working and install it and maintain the instance but when it comes to look at SIMS I'm pretty useless. However we have had a strange one this afternoon. Our data manager is doing some analysis and has noticed that for some students the SEN history has gone missing. They have been assigned an N code and all history has gone. Does anyone know where I can start looking to see who or what has caused this to happen? Cheers!

Yeah from what I can see on Sophos forums it should start supporting multiple UPNs in firmware version 18.5

Unfortunately can't do that because I need the UPN set with our public domain name for the 365 sync

Morning, Just wondering if anyone can help with a Sophos XG query. I've added out Active Directory to the XG and synced groups through to apply web filter policies to. This works fine and out AD is .internal domain. All our users then have a different public domain UPN for 365. However, the XG does not authenticate the users if they join the wireless using their UPN as username. Does anyone have any work around for this? Will possibly also cause problems when I deploy Sophos Endpoint protection with Synchronised ID.

Good Afternoon, Quick question for anyone running a Sophos XG and Sophos Endpoint Protection, or anyone just running a Sophos XG really. We have Sophos XG integrated with our AD (which is on a .local domain name) and this is generally working fine, unless people join the wireless by putting in their email address (which is .org domain name, as a UPN suffix in AD). However, when I install Sophos Endpoint protection on a computer, it authenticates the user logged in through Heartbeat and the client is only sending the username (samaccountname attribute). It does not seemingly send/auth with the netbios name prior to the username. https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000038494?language=en_US In that support article it states that the UPN must be the same as the samaccountname. I might be being a bit dumb on a Friday afternoon but has anyone got this setup and working or able to point me in the right direction as to why its not authenticating with either the .org domain or the client isn't sending the fqdn of the user logged in?

So I've just redesigned and setup a new backup solution so it works in the following. Veeam backing up to an onsite NAS, with a scale out repository offloading to a Wasabi Cloud Storage account which is protected and has immutable backups. I will also be adding in a usb hard drive rotation into the solution once they arrive as well.

Would the decryption tool still work if the NAS had to be reformatted and started from fresh? I assume you could use any Synology NAS to decrypt the files?

I see, I'm looking at a similar solution but using Altaro rather than Veeam.

How are you restoring from Google Drive? Are you having to restore the file to the NAS first and then restore through Veeam?

I put in a Sophos XG over Easter break and have to say its much better than Smoothwall. It is easier to understand what is going on and configure. The log view is brilliant for troubleshooting. I'm in the process of getting Sophos Endpoint protection and configuring Synchronised Security.

Give @Wave9_Lee a shout. He's recently helped me move away from Smoothwall and the guys over at Wave9 have been solid.

I believe the way around that would be to have a script which creates a scheduled task to then run a script at user logon.

I've got this setup. It annoyingly requires an Intune app to be made every time there is a SIMS update though and definitely has its flaws. But essentially, have a Powershell script that installs SIMS update, then replaces the shortcut in the start menu to point directly to the Pulsar.exe. It also copies the connect.ini into the SIMS application folder if it is not already there. That connect.ini just points back to the SIMS SQL Server. Then create an Intune app with the Microsoft tool and deploy it to staff laptops every time there's a SIMS update. Point it to the Pulsar.exe file version for detection. Only problem can come is if the laptop is restarted during the update but after Pulsar version has changed.

Afternoon, Looking for a bit of advice and guidance from anyone who is managing any Android tablets. I currently have 2 tablets that our SEN department purchased, but I want to manage them through Intune if possible. I see I need a Managed Google Play account. Just wondering how others have set this up and what sort of structure they are using? Cheers

Interestingly I have a user at my place who experiences something similar when using Teams in a browser. There is no auto complete, but if he does the same in the desktop app then it begins to autocomplete.
