This is, Bernie E said before the start of the season that he wanted to see Rosberg win the championship which by the looks of it what Bernie wants, Bernie gets It was brilliant seeing Williams at the front again, long may it continue! Much prefer to see real racing teams at the front rather than drinks companies.
  4. Thank you @Elsiegee Just got the newsletter through from Forget Me Not and they will be doubling the number of children and families they support this year. The work they do is absolutely awe inspiring, these are children who have a very short life expectancy and the care they get is incredible. They also provide amazing support for the parents and family as well.
  5. On the 12th July, I will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, which provides support for children and young people with life shortening conditions and their families across Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield. You can find out more about the work of the hospice at Forget Me Not Children's Hospice The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24.5 mile hike taking in the three peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent, with a target of completing within 12 hours. So, tin rattling time I'd really appreciate any donations, large or small, you can donate through my fundraising page at Virgin Money Giving | Fundraising | Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2014. I've also got a proposition for any site sponsors on here, for a suitable donation I would wear one of your corporate t-shirts on the walk and put your logo on my sponsorship page, pm me if interested Thanks, Teejay
  6. No 1 lesson to learn, do your own research, don't rely on what companies say without checking from other sources:p
  7. Yes there are, see here - Features Supported by the Editions of SQL Server 2012
  8. Well, will have to get rid of that for you -
  9. Just so you've got it buzzing round in your head all afternoon - http://youtu.be/Wv43hKSzBws
  10. Yes they have a lifetime warranty, you just call it in with HP Procurve support and they send out a replacement next day.The will go through some diagnostics first though. One thing, make sure you take a backup of the config file before calling HP as they are likely to fiddle/reset it.
  11. Are there any firmware updates for your switches, that may be a problem. The other thing I can think of is use Wireshark to see if there is anything blitzing the server. Other than that, get your consultant in and gaffer tape him to the chair until they fix it. Drawing tacks may speed up the process in this case ;-)
  12. I would also be looking at the NIC drivers, there are some versions for HP servers that are really borked. Be careful when updating though, do some research to check if anyone is having problems with the version you are going to update to.
  13. If you're going to continue teaching then go for a management company to look after it all, too much hassle otherwise. The only other thing I would say is don't buy to let your parents house if you have any emotional attachment to it, you are better getting a different house, you'll understand why after your first set of tenants move out
  14. What the you can't have a Millgate promo without chocolate pizza in the prize list, it's just not right! Count me in anyway:p
  15. If they wont send out a replacement unit, they should send out the correct packaging, it's not exactly something you can just stick in a random box.
  16. Ade Edmondson:
  17. Sad loss, saw him doing bottom live a few times (ooeerr missus), absolutely in stitches every time.
  18. Congratulations, I'm sure you'll love it down there, there's even a bar designed just for you The Purple Bar -
  19. Could be slow link is too low, worth checking. A few things to try, from an admin command prompt type route -F to reset the routing table and then reboot. Also, do a gpupdate /force to make sure the machine does actually have the correct GP's installed.
  20. The barstewards stole my joke! *phone lawyer*
  21. Eh, confused.com moment, I'm being a bit thick obviously ;-)
  22. No problem, just don't do what I did at first, which was to add the teachers domain group rather than the individual users, which works fine on the network, just has a bit of a problem in not seeing the group when they take them home:doh:
  23. With the machine connected to the network, go into control panel, manage user accounts, advanced, advanced user management, groups, double click on groups, double click on network configuration operators, add, change location to your ad tree rather than local users, add the user name
  24. Doesn't matter if it's a domain cached account, you just add that account to the local Network Configuration Operators group. As long as they've logged in at least once on the machine with the cached account it will work.
  25. If you add them to the Network Configuration Operators local group that should work.
