  1. I have disabled our antivirus and the issue still happens. I have seen people say its related to network drivers but they are up to date
  2. I am wrapping my brains with it. Unreal !
  3. All the latest updates have been installed, Cannot get my head around it. Its just the system process using ridiculous amounts of CPU. Any other ways to troubleshoot it ?

  5. Thanks guys , I've setup mic teaming on the hosts. I have had some advice to plug the hosts straight into the San and not through a switch. What are your thoughts ?
  6. Cheers I'll take a Look ! Appreciate your help
  7. Could I do some sort of Mic teaming to create a 2g connection ?
  8. Yea only when creating fixed vhds. And currently copying 100gb from a physical to the vhd and that's maxing the iscsi connection out . Cheers
  9. Hi All, I have just started to virtualize our environment. Our setup consists of the following Dell Ps6100x SAN 2 HOSTS with 4 NICS HP 1GB Switch I have got 7 viirtual machines running and they seem to be running fine. The ISCSI connection on each host uses hardly anything most of the time. However when i create a new VHD or Copy data onto a VM the ISCSI connection seems to max out. Each host has 4 1GB NICS and the SAN has 2x 4 1gb NICS. Currently the hosts are setup with 1 NIC dedicated to Domain traffic and 1 NIC dedicated to ISCSI traffic. Is there anything i can do to stop this from happening or anyway of increasing the ISCSI bandwidth? NIC Teaming or some sort of load balancing ? Cheers Guys
  10. Email sent ! Hopefully not too late !
  11. Just tried using the above tool and i get an error processing the folder. Any other tools i could use. The home directory permissions are a complete mess. I cant get into some user areas without giving admins permissions first ! They are all set not to inherit permissions too. Could someone give me a tool to correct this and what are the correct settings that should be setup on the user share and directories. Thanks

  14. It doesnt seem to be working setting it to follow the documents folder. The event log says that it is successful but when i create something new in My videos it isnt displayed in the user area
  15. What are the correct permissions to have set to your users directory?
  16. Just realized that my documents is working but nothing else is, My videos or pictures. In the event log on the machine i am seeing "Successfully applied policy and redirected folder Videos. But my videos isnt redirected. I create something in videos and it doesnt show in the user area? This has all seemed to stop working since i migrated our file server. Would this have anything to do with share permissions or permissions at all?
