HI All, I have a VBS script that allows me to pin taskbar items and startmenu items that i want. It works for administrators but will not work for standard users. I think its because the script needs to be ran as an administrator. I would like to run this script at login so whats the best way of of running it as an administrator? Please tell me if i am doing this completely wrong ! Thanks Guys.

Hi Nick, i managed to disable the pop up box , thanks ! i have looked at the link with chrome http and still cannot get SSO to work in chrome. Am i correct in thinking that all i need to do is add the url to trusted sites? Thanks Nick

When i attempt to view those logs it says they are not there. whats the easiest way of seeing where these logs actually are ? Thanks

Yup it is added to trusted sites. Moodle attempts to do SSO but fails and shows the normal login box. Surely there is a log somewhere of the error? Thanks for the speedy reply ! Cheers

I have joined the ubuntu box to the domain and made those permission changes but its still not working. Is there any logs or troubleshoot steps i can take to see what it is ? Thanks

Hi All, We have been using moodle for 3 months now and i am trying to configure SSO . We have LDAP working a treat but i can't seem to get SSO working. We are running moodle on Ubuntu 14.04 using Apache. I have enabled the SSO options and moodle tries to login using SSO but fails and shows me the normal login form. Does the Ubuntu box need to be part of the windows domain for this to work? Any help would be appreciated Cheers

Hi All, I have just managed to get SSO working with Internet explorer. It doesn't seem to be working with google chrome ? is there anything i need to change in chrome? Also is there any way of stopping the auto login message from coming up. The one that says you have been auto logged in and these features will not work etc. Thanks for you help !

Hi guys , exchange is now quick although on many internal client machines the ssl is not showing. Although externally the Ssl certainly displays all the time. This therefore makes internal initial connections a little slower. Any ideas how I could trouble shoot this Ssl issue ? Would smoothwall strip it for any reason ?

We have a trust in place and it still doesn't seem to work. Im guessing the trust must be setup both ways?

Hi All, I have set up moodle at our school and would like to know how i can allow staff to freely move around the courses and edit them without having to be enrolled on them.( Less administration) Can this be done through our LDAP e.g staff group get assigned a role. Also our students are being given the student role however they are unable to enroll in any of the courses. "You can not enrol yourself in this course." Any idea? Thanks

Still having the issue. I have another virtual server providing another service the exact same way and it works fine. It must be something to do with exchange as it is now happening when the proxy is ticked or unticked. Any other ideas what this could be. Surely it couldn't be a routing issue if i have another web server setup the same way thats running fine?

Thanks for your help but the issue still seems to be there. I am planning on upgrading to CU7 tonight to see if that helps but i doubt it will. Do you have any other suggestions ?

No worries , My thoughts are smoothwall related too because if i change disable the proxy it works fine. The default gateway is set to the gateway of that Vlan Depending on which Vlan they are in as they have been done by location. The client and the server are in different Vlans. I have not tried the HTTP option yet but will give it ago shortly. The issue is once the teacher gains access to the email its fine so i have to find someone having the issue. smoothwall is configured to carry out HTTPS inspection and is configured with an upstream proxy. Ill try accessing OWA form the same VLAN and see what happens. Thanks for your help.

I have tried both Chrome and internet explorer I get the issue accessing it using external web address, Ip address and FQDN Its over HTTPS We have a signed Cert on the external web address We do use Vlans We do have forwarding enabled on our DNS to our Gateway
