(See https://www.manageengine.com/microsoft-365-management-reporting/kb/how-to-remove-onedrive-for-business-access-for-users.html which says OneDrive is in the Sharepoint license)
  2. Ours is on our domain so I don't know the "private" passwords - I therefore wouldn't know if they'd changed them.
  3. There's an emergency alert button??
  4. They changed all PINs about 3 months ago, presumably for this reason.
  5. We don't give our transition students any IT-based lessons until they arrive; they do a variety of subjects on transition day but not IT.
  6. Yes, next years events is turned off. We have no clashing days on our academic years - I set the Summer Holiday to end the day before the start of Autumn Term/new academic year.
  7. More updates from last years ticket (to refresh my memory on the issue): Me: (during last week of holiday) Salamander: Me: Salamander: So they're expecting no Summer Holiday to be defined, instead ending the Academic Year at the end of July? Surely this is wrong?
  8. We don't want the new timetable showing until the start of term; not bothered if it shows on Staff Training Day (which is always first day of term), but we don't want it showing beforehand. I don't understand why moving the holiday affects anything.
  9. Hi We use Salamander for various things including timetables into exchange calendars. Salamander are telling me our academic year / holidays are "unconventional" (my wording not theirs) and causing issues with when timetables should/should not apply during summer/in readiness for start of term. My post: Their reply: Are we doing anything wrong/different to everyone else? Why should the school holiday not accurately represent the school holiday? Any thoughts?
  10. Ok now i'm stuck We don't use Applicaa (yet) but I do a lot of the equivalent importing/processing with the data team so I thought I'd sense-check the basics with you. I think next thing I'd do is copy the Civica report then tweaking it to see if I could get students to appear, then work out why they are what they are/or why they are where they are.
  11. Correct Intake Group (2024/25 - Year 7) and Application Status something other than *admitted*? (Edited post!)
  12. Can you browse to a known Y7 student manually? Are they in Focus > Admission > Applicant, or are they in Focus > Student > Future? I'm wondering if Applicaa has admitted the students already (with a future date) rather than pulling them in as Applicants (Applied/Offered/Accepted)?
  13. I'm pretty sure Harrogate Grammar (Red Kite Academy) are Extreme Networks, or they were when I visited about 10/12 years ago. No idea if they've moved on or not.
  14. https://www.myexcelonline.com/blog/excel-if-cell-color-is-green/ Formula to count/process colour of cells.
  15. We've just had this with History, but for the writing side of it - we told students how to save/close their first paper, then re-open EWP and start their second paper. But DepHead has had complaints from teachers as they are allowed to jump back and forth between papers throughout the two hours. So we could do with multiple output files as well as multiple pre-loaded PDF files. Just when you've a minute or two spare...
  16. Not in our location; normal days just work, it's only the custom days that go wrong. However i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one with the bug! What is your actual scenario? Trying to get my head around your first post, it almost implies that the staff who are only allowed in 7-11 are not allowed to use the door when it's already (timed) open - which doesn't make sense. Then we can maybe talk you through ways of implementation.
  17. Oh I get that - but when I plug our phone system into the router and give it a public IP, bypassing Smoothwall, many more parts of the SIP connection start working - not all, but many. So either SIP, ALG, NATing, firewalling or something else in Smoothwall is having a significant impact on it, but Suraj and Tao assure me it's not our Smoothwall causing the issue.
  18. We've spent several months fighting Smoothwall, Gamma (SIP provider), our two ISPs, and our telephony provider, and not managed to get SIPS working - similar scenario to you, rings but no voice, voice but no ring, pickup but no answer/termination when you hang up, ... We've given up and moving to a VoIP solution instead.
  19. Have you realised that time configuration for a Custom Day is on a second tab in the Timezone section? You have to re-apply the times that would normally apply on that (eg Tuesday) to the CustomDay, otherwise staff badges won't know what times to work. Also there is a bug with Custom Days and trigger rules, at least on our system, and i'm not aware they've fixed it yet. Our outside lights use a trigger rule "When timezone is active..." to turn on/off the lights: On Custom days, the timezone will only trigger after the "time of day that you last edited the timezone". So if you want the lights on from 5am until 8am, then again 4pm to 9pm, you have to log into Paxton at some time between midnight and 5am and edit/save the timezone, otherwise the lights won't come on until 4pm. This only affects custom days, the normal Mon-Fri times work fine. It took a lot of work to identify the bug, because if you log in at 10am and set a temporary on/off period for 10:05 to make sure the logic is all working - it's fine, the lights work, because it's "after" the time of day. You re-assure premises it's fine, but the next morning nothing works at 5am! Peter
  20. I don't suppose anyone knows where you're supposed to upload marked/signed PDF evidence of performance coursework, on WJEC/Surpass? Our E/O is being presented with screen asking for marks (multiple choice or question/answer) in CSV format, but the work they've done is a screenplay performance and written analysis, marked/annotated by our drama teachers and produced into PDF....
  21. We have our VMware hosts and the windows guests all set to the same NTP source, which is our Smoothwall UTM. That in turn looks out to the internet to "Multiple random public servers". This ensures everything in-school gets same time, even if (worst case scenario) that time happens to be wrong time.
  22. Correct. You can typically get 4 mics in the unlicensed channel 70 range (863.100-864.900). For 8 in a primary school you will probably be looking at a channel 38 shared license (606.500 - 613.500) - which gives you up to about 12 mics depending on brand and spec. If you're next door to someone else using the shared license you may need to go coordinated which prevents anyone else (legally) using your frequencies. We have 8 in Ch30 (542-550), plus 12 in Ch38. 23. 20 minutes after my earlier post, my technician mentioned that he HAS seen the prompt at launch earlier this morning. Curiouser and curiouser.
  24. Interesting. Workstation Consolidation Patches are treated as "Releases" in SOLUS, so if a user double-clicks the SOLUS agent and goes to Applications > Check for update, it does then prompt them to install the workstation patch. I've never seen it do it at SIMS launch though.
  25. I enquired at christmas and now have access to the developer area and their "testing" school for me to develop against - this part is free. Once I'm happy that I can get what I want (and I have time to sit down and play!) I can "Add" my own school to my dev account just like a 3rd party would, and at that point I think I start getting billed. I've not got that far yet. Peter
