  1. Would it be easier to get hold of someone else's msp file that you could amend?
  2. We've gone for the Smart Advantage licence so staff can use at home for the same reasons.
  3. I always just extract the exe with 7zip to get the msi and did 15.6.2 yesterday. Could your AV be altering the file?
  4. Some of my schools still give out teachers laptops, others haven't given out since 2005. With budgets being hit providing a decent remote access system may be more cost effective than supplying staff with laptops to be used at home.
  5. I don't think even apple would charge for this!!!
  6. The only other benefit of using the paid Meraki licence is you get access to better support.
  7. Could be down for at least another 24hours. https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/email-problems-hotmail-outlook-may-last-another-24-hours/
  8. With Smart Notebook you can use the Smart Notebook app on Ipad to avoid having your back to the class plus it works as a visualiser. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/smart-notebook-for-ipad/id554245373?mt=8
  9. Apple Configurator is horrendous software so it's bound to be that! MDM and DEP are the answers to your prayers!
  10. You forgot weekends and holidays as well!
  11. In my experience without staff being given training into how to use the boards, they won't use them. They're happier to be given older technologies like projectors etc as they know how to use them and feel more confident.
  12. I'd look at the bulbs as it maybe cheaper bulbs are not made to the same standards and won't withstand the high temps that school projectors run to. A lot of projectors may be only used infrequently but school ones are pretty much on all day.
  13. You can control air server with their "Installing Air Server for Windows" guide which they will email you upon request. Also possible if you have an mdm solution you can control which Ipads can connect to which air server etc. Meraki MDM has a "AirPlay" payload which can be used for this. "Configuring AirServer AirServer for Windows can be configured during the installation process by setting properties. Properties can be set either directly on the command line when using msiexec.exe or by using a transform file (MST). AirServer can also be configured by using the command line tool AirServerConsole.exe after AirServer has been installed." - - - Updated - - -
  14. Licensing in SketchUp Pro 2015 Tuesday, November 4, 2014 6:00 AM Official SketchUp Blog: Licensing in SketchUp Pro 2015
  15. Anyone looked at Sketchup Make 2015 yet? Seems to indicate the licence is done via the cloud but that was about as much as I could find.
  16. Anyone had any luck with the latest scratch 2.0 installers. They are no longer .air application. I can extract the latest version and get an msi but that installs to the root of C:. I'll assume orca or similar can redirect this. Anyone else been looking at these yet? The current version is v426, updated 15 October 2014
