Can you check that Delivery optimisation isn't on and trying to download the feature update from another client on the network? Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Delivery Optimization Setting the download mode to Bypass prevents clients from trying to download updates from each other and just goes through WSUS I believe.

So it turns out the documentation I was looking at was for US customers. The document their support sent me had different URLs, IPs and ports to open. Once this was done the software works without issue. Thank you for your suggestions though guys will definitely look at Fiddler next time im in a similar situation.

Thanks for the suggestion but it hasn't worked unfortunately. Apparently there are two different versions of the software and support, one called Glooko and another called Diasend. I have contacted Diasend and they have sent me a list with some completely different URLs and firewall rules to implement so ill try those next.

Hi all, I have been provided with some software called Diasend Uploader that I need to get working for some sort of diabetic monitor. We have RM broadband and I have unblocked all the URLs requested in the Diasend documentation and I am still getting no joy. When I run the software it just says check your internet connection. Works fine when I tether to my phone and use 4G so has to be something network related. Any of you come across this software and got any tips on how you got it working?

This also happens on Windows 10 with the built in administrator account. If you use another account or go directly via legacy control panel it should work fine.

Hi there, I have an SEN student who has been provided with a laptop and a copy of Office 2019 Home and Student to use for work. Office 2019 Home and Student says purchased in the Microsoft Store but when I try to download it I get... I have checked to make sure no trial versions of Office are installed. I have however noticed that the laptop is running Windows 10 Enterprise. Would this stop home and student from installing? Any help would be great.

I had a similar issue with Server 2019 where it said unidentified network instead of the domain name and suffix when on a static, on DHCP it was fine. I sorted this by restarting the network location awareness service.

Let me know how you get on with that particular GPO. I got all excited when I saw it in the 1809 policy templates but when I applied it to my testing OU nothing seemed to happen. Users could still access the print menu in Edge and send jobs (that would then inevitably get stuck in the queue).

Printing from modern apps has been broken since Windows 8 so yeah very much doubt Microsoft intend to do anything about it. I pushed out a default file associations XML but people still manage to print from Edge somehow so both Edge and Photos are blocked using Applocker now. Havent had any issues since.

I found that disabling fast startup in the power options resolved this issue for us without having to disable any drivers.

Do you get a trust prompt on the device when you connect it? Is the device supervised?

In order to prevent users from removing the MDM profile you would need to use DEP. Profiles containing configuration from AC2 you can add a passcode to prevent removal when configuring them.

Its probably worth adding another phone number and backing up the recovery key just in case.

I have spoken to Apple Support about this and if you do not get the option to migrate when you login to deploy.apple.com then it means the VPP account was setup before February 2014. If this is the case you will need to sign up for Apple School Manager and then invite your program facilitator account to join in order to move the licences across to a location you created in ASM. Support article for this here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207867 If you do get the option to migrate from deploy.apple.com then moving to Apple School Manager is easy and takes about 5 minutes.

Only installing on a VM at the moment. Since it seems we have now become Microsoft's QA team I am being extra careful this time.

Just checked the Windows 10 update assistant and the May 2019 update (1903) is now available to download. Not sure when it will be making an appearance on VLSC but its usually a few weeks later.

Try changing the package version to "And below" instead of the default "And Above".

Depending how the devices were originally setup you would still need AC2 either to add them into DEP or supervise them. Devices that support iOS 11 can be added to DEP via AC2.

Have you tried doing a manual sync in My School > Apple Apps and Books You could try renewing your token as well.
