Hadn't noticed any problem until I saw this thread. Service unavailable when I tried to login on another computer, though. With two borked updates and two O365 outages, it really hasn't been a good few weeks for Microsoft.

As an aside, just take a look at the improper use of punctuation on that page! Edit of edit: I've just reread what I posted (and quoted) and realised I've ranted for no reason whatsoever. They've done exactly what I was moaning about! The only change is the information about the governing body. My brain switched off after 'information schools must publish'. Don't I feel stupid, now!

Managed to login to OWA after lunch, with 18 emails in my inbox. What was the first email, received at 03.02am? Why, a Microsoft Azure Pricing and Service Update. Where would we be without irony?

Looking at the chart at the bottom of the page, it shows 10 Information flags and 1 Warning. What exactly does it take for there to be an Error flag!!!!

I spent virtually all day Friday remoting into machines to perform the upgrade. What a waste of a day! On the plus side, I did learn how to edit a registry remotely to allow RDP connections on two machines that were blocking my attempts to fix them.

You didn't persuade Colin and Ross to wear dresses and dash across the car park.

Mine were waiting for me when I got back to my desk after spending my whole day fixing an entire suite of machines taken out by the botched Windows 7 update. Loving the groovy socks, and the dinky VeryPC flash drive will come in VeryPC handy (see what I did there?). They really cheered me up before the start of the weekend. Thanks again guys.

Gahhhh!!!!!! I set it as not approved in WSUS just as a class of children in another suite shutdown their PCs. They are all now installing 31 updates. :gulp: Oh, well. We'll see... Edit: Phew! They seem to have come through unscathed - for now. I'm going start another thread in a different forum, @sted, as I've just noticed this is a Promethean Direct Support forum and our issues have nothing to do with Promethean.

What OS are you using @sted and @DaveJ2717uk?

I'm also having a flashing monitor issue on about 20 PCs in one room but, in our case, it's nothing to do with Promethean boards* as we don't have any. Ours don't even get as far as the logon screen. When booting up, it stays on the Please wait screen for a few minutes then turns into a disco light show. Booting to both Safe Mode and Last Known Good produces the same result. The PCs are Fujitsu Esprimos running Win 7 Pro 32-bit. I've checked a few that are still working and they successfully installed a load of updates yesterday. *Actually, we run some Boardworks software that uses Promethean software. I wonder...
