Enabled for staff. Enabled for KS2 Students with lessons to turn on the Restricted settings to ensure theycan do it at home as well. Any pupils found to be watching innapropriate videos or at innapropriate times access is removed for a couple of weeks. If caught again then they are removed permanently. In the 2 years that this has been running I have only removed a couple of people. We have Securus running on the school computers so this picks up the words associated with the innapropriate content.

I have just been having a look at this: com.apple.home isn't working for me. I can't find the bundle id online.

+1 for Air Server, I have used a copy of it here on a few occasions and not encountered any problems.

It is an app that they provide it is not part of the app store.

Hello Everyone I am having an issue with trying to install the Impero enterprise app on my test iPad. I have got the app configured in Meraki using the current ipa file (although I have used the plist as well). The app installs on my iPad without any issues but when I click on it I get an Untrusted Enterprise Developer pop up box. Within the profile that applies to the iPad I have got the Automatically trust enterprise apps (iOS 9+) setting enabled but this appears to have no effect. I have looked at this several times on-line but I can only find solutions for iPads not configured within MDMs. Has anyone come across / solved this issue. Thanks in advance.

You can prevent the adding of pass codes within the Systems Manager -> Settings section. Select the profile that affects the settings on your iPads. Select the Restrictions setting on the left of screen and expand the iOS restrictions (supervised) setting. Within their is the following setting: Allow modification of passcode settings (iOS 9+). Make sure that this is unticked. Also within that section is a setting called Allow app removal right at the top of the list. Hope that helps.

I believe that you can't hide the Settings app.

Strava will send you an e-mail / alert when you have run a certain amount of kilometres in one pair of shoes saying that maybe you should look at replacing them. I took notice of this because not every mile was tracked through Strava. Hopefully that will then help prevent injury caused by worn out trainers.

I have had my feet analysed several times, try and get it done once every couple of years or so to see if running style has changed. The local running shop charges you for it unless you then purchase a pair of trainers. I would definitely recommend at least trying on trainers and trying a quick run in them to see if they are comfortable. Last time I went to the running shop I tried on 4 different pairs and had a quick run in each trainer to see which ones were the most comfortable. Since then I have looked online and purchased a couple more pairs of the same trainers for cheaper.

We have a local secondary school who I have been talking to about their touchscreens as we are starting to investigate installing them to replace our failing SmartBoards. They have touchscreens in some departments and then just normal TVs in others where the touch wasn't required. As a primary school many teachers I have talked to want the children to interact with the screens in the lower years for activities like practicing their hand writing. In secondary schools I can't imagine there is as much need for the touch interaction.

@jdoyle it is a fantastic route. The race can be done as relay of 4, as a pair or solo and runs from Lizard Point to Lands End. They are the most southerly and westerly points of main land England so you are running a quarter of the coast line -> hence the name. There are some beautiful views on the coast line althought it is quite hilly as you can see from my last set of training runs on Strava.

Congrats on the great race. Beautiful area of the countryside to run in (apart from the heat) I was supposed to be doing a 44mile coastal path run this Saturday called the Classic Quarter but 2 weeks ago while warming up for a run session I put my right foot down a hole and severly sprained my ankle. Can't run more than 100 metres at the moment. Last 6 months of training down the pan. Pretty depressed at the moment and wondering what to do next.

SWGfL do a good e-safety tool called 360safe which helps you evaluate your current e-safety practices across 28 points. I have been using this across the last couple of years to develop our E-Safety awareness and procedures in the school. It has a lot of good links to policy templates / other websites that can help save term when searching for info and writing policies. https://360safe.org.uk/

I have managed to hide the Tips app with the bundleid com.apple.tips which I had to add as an option.

I have managed to hide all of the following: com.apple.Appstore com.apple.Maps com.apple.iBooks com.apple.podcasts com.apple.remote com.apple.reminders com.apple.mobilenotes com.apple.MobileAddressBook com.apple.Music com.apple.mobileme.fmf1 com.apple.videos com.apple.mobilecal com.apple.mobilemail com.apple.Photo-Booth com.apple.tips com.apple.mobileme.fmip1 Some of these took longer to hide than others but all were gone within 5minutes of changing the setting.

Logging in this morning I can see that Meraki have started implementing the additional features from iOS 9.3 https://meraki.cisco.com/blog/2016/03/support-for-ios-9-3-check/ Looking in the settings menu you can now show / hide the ios apps except the settings app I have managed to hide some of the built in apps such as Maps, ibooks, Podcasts and Reminders but was struggling to hide some of the others from the list of bundle id's shown in the meraki interface. I found a list of the bundle ids (link below) which have helped me to then hide Find My Friends, Find my iPhone, Tips and Mail. Living down in Cornwall I have started to do a lot of trail running this year in preparation for a long distance race in a months time. It is much harder to run on than your average road race but I find it much more rewarding. You have to pay attention all the time as the ground is uneven or in my case you might fall off a cliff. I find on the road I can get bored and stop paying attention. I would reccommend trail running to anyone who might be losing motivation on the road. Plus it doesn't take as big a toll on your knee / hip joints.

Upgraded to the Enterprise edition at the end of last week as only have 40 clients so far. On the Mobile Settings within the profiles area the following have been added: Allow iCloud Photo Library (iOS 9) Disallow sharing of managed documents with AirDrop (iOS 9) Allow App Store (iOS 9) Allow keyboard shortcuts (iOS 9) Allow pairing with Apple Watch (iOS 9) Allow modification of passcode settings (iOS 9) Allow modification of device name (iOS 9) Allow modification of wallpaper (iOS 9) Allow automatic downloading of apps purchased on other devices (iOS 9) Automatically trust enterprise apps (iOS 9) Allow News app (iOS 9) I haven't had much more time to look any deeper. They have worked without issue when updating our class set of iPads this morning.

I have just recreated our school website using the responsive Purity III template from https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/purity-iii and the newest 3.5 version of Joomla. The administrator back end for the template was pretty easy to make changes with and we have created the following: Roskear Primary and Nursery School - Home. I like the way that the template resizes for smaller devices and I have tested this on my tablet and phone where it still displays well. A larger proportion of users are now using mobile devices so I think it is quite important.

Staff can have whatever they wish for the desktop. Children get the following: Main section taken from our old school website. The HT dislikes it but I am not graphically gifted / motivated enough to change it. Might run a competition for Safer Internet Day next year to change our desktops with E-Safety ideas.
