  3. If you get a chance, go upto Tintagel. Right at the end of the main street, just before the cliffs/beach is an awsome Pasty Shop May be a bit of a long haul though!
  4. I love Cornwall (pasties even more)
  5. Now Pembrokshire Coast Path is an idea whats it like for casual camping? Not sure in your music tastes but Cropredy festivel is very friendy, great food, real ale but mostly folk based or theirs Rambling Man this year which is Rock, Blues and Prog based.
  6. Finding myself old free and single last year I took up a new hobby and bivvy bagged along the SW cost path for a week (sleeping without a tent) and also went to a couple of music festivals. Plan something similar this year but am saving to goto Iran next year to experience ancient Persia.

  8. Was working with HP 100VG switches (802.12) then because none else would use that standard had to move to fast ethernet at some cost!!!!
  9. Working with Novell Netware as my main NOS, Windows 98SE workstations, implementing Groupwise for email. NT4 server for Intranet, removing HP switches that no one ever used but previous NM thought was the way ahead. Millenium bug testing and being allowed to take leave only in term time

  11. They had that TV ad (ok designed to shock but...) where the dads in the Volvo Estate having a fag with the window open but the smoke is all over the inside of the car where his baby is sat in a car seat in the back.
  12. Reminds me of a place where I once worked. Just before I joined the LEA had told the ehad that he needed to invest in a whole new infrastructure. He gave them the finger and spent all his money on bright and shiney. Net result it was all unworkable becasue the infrastructure couldn't handle the bright and shiney. Up end (and he was luckey) they managed to get an interest free loan from CISCO that covered the infrastructure upgrade that enabled bright and shiney to work.
  13. Bit of sleet and snow in here in City centre Manchester but it won't stick
  14. Apologies for a thread hijack but what is the current line with the Latest Smart Software, do I have to pay or can you update on a board that is relativly new (2 years). Asking this as we have a BENQ touch screen that dosn't like Version 12 and the installers recommend going to the latest version but am loath to pay.
  15. Yes Smart Ink was the beast, I think we just un installed it from all the machines as no one was using it anyway, might as well paint the wall white rather than fork out for an IWB.
  16. I had something similar with and it was to do with SMART (I can see it lurking to the left of the screen shot) can't for the life of me remember what it was that we did What version are you on and what add ons are you using?
  17. Me so that if I ever need to move around when there is no light such as a power outage I can do so through memory. Also saves the odd 0.001p

  21. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say. If it work then good, if not then a good doctor will be able to suggest something else. From personal experience I found counselling to be good as I was able to talk to someone at last (part of the issue) and also together we realised that sports therapy was a good route to go down. Good luck!
  22. Ent would be cool
  23. Back in, check all systems, re clear my desk and hunt for leftover goodies from before christmas
  24. Our one touch screen is using a PC with Smart Notebook (v 12), as the software runs through the PC its not a problem. As an aside I should imagine this is why Smart are moving into the licencing of their software as the boards will/may become redundant over the touch screens. Issue we had with our LCD was mounting it as the internal walls in some classrooms couldn't hold the weight.
  25. Busted!!! I'm giving these out this year
