You will NOT be disappointed in Ruckus! We received a trial (also from Simon at CPLTD) and we had a suite of laptops running on it within the hour. It is very very easy to set-up and administer. After our trial, we immediately purchased a kit and had it installed in no time. It really is very very easy - well, you will find that out when you receive your demo unit. If you want to contact me, I'm more than happy to provide you with my details and you can see it in 'anger' if you like. As a side note, I purchased our's from CPLTD and I'm glad I did because the two occasions I've needed help. They were resolved immediately!! And it was not a problem with the Ruckus, just my stupidity! You won't regret it, honestly!

First impressions - great. When I have more time I may delve a little deeper - but I really like it!

We changed our proxy address a few weeks ago! Now something strange is happening to some laptops. I have just witnessed 16 laptops connecting to the network ok, but the only laptop which could connect to the internet was one which had an old proxy address in there. All the other had the new address, and could not connect, how could this be???? I've looked at GPO and our proxy settings are set per user not machine.

My website - basic but informative...with relevant ads

Simple and clean! - and more importantly legible, well done! -
I know there are a few threads on here regarding Parental access, but I thought I'd frefresh the topic! We currently use SIMS.net and was wondering what the general consensus was as to what people have opted for and what they may be choosing! Also, what problems schools have come up against, i.e incident logs, data cleansing etc! Many thanks

If I were you I'd talk to Simon at CPLtd (on here). Search for Ruckus on here and pound to a penny you will be lead to him, and all favourable reviews. If you would like to talk about Ruckus, just PM me and I'd be happy to talk to you about our setup! Good luck!

That's really cool (pardon the pun!)

Does this site get through your filter?

No problems here! -
We use CLEO's mail servers. The only issue we have had is the new servers not accepting the domain of a previously sent recipient! So teachers are frustrated at having to type the full email address in! Other than that, I've had no issues here!

What's wrong with it????? Put it this way, it's making people talk about it. it's different!!

I'd second that! Future proof, yes, but when would you be looking at 1GB to the desktop? What benefits really would it serve. I'd go for the 10/100

COME ON FEDERER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could install this yourself in minutes - it's that simple (honestly, we did it a couple of months ago, really easy) With regards to the number of access points, we are a secondary and we have 12 currently in use and that serves around 120 laptops, but could easily accommodate lots more. We purchased ours from CPLTD, no-one could touch them for price, Simon's a good guy which helps a great deal! If you would like any further info, please PM me. Thanks

We had a power cut last night. Now some users cannot access the internet (regardless of the machine). All the proxy settings are there, refreshed policy, etc, but still no internet. Can anyone point me in the right direction

I used to be an armament engineer, but now, probably a 'bikini straightener' on the scene of baywatch! (if it's still on that is)

Looking to buy NOD32 (64bit) for our windows 2008 terminal server/Citrix blades. Can anyone tell me, do I just buy the one license per server or (I'm guessing) you but the number for connected clients? I don't need it for the clients themselves, just the servers! Many thanks

If there are concessions for children etc, why not for morbidly obese people to pay a premium. What would happen if half the seats were taken up with people like him: a - the plane would be full (with only half the number of people) but with only half the revenue possible b - surely extra fuel would be needed (possibly) c- the H&S aspect
