We've got ot here and i havenever been asked to set anythign up to connect to Sims, and believe me i would have been roped into it.

We are looking for companies that provide school websites and to also get some feedback from anyone who is using one of such companies please.

HOw do you get involved in the Beta testing when their is a new SIMS release?

Is it possible to delete the reports that previous staff have designed? I know how to delete reports but i cant seem to delete any reports made by old staff. Any ideas?

I was wondering if it is possible to get access to course guides form Support.net? I was speaking to someone who had recently done a Capita course and came back with course notes (Delegates guide) and wondered if these are only available if you attend the course or if these can be downloaded? (Long shot i know)

Does anyone know of any software that can turn off Internet in all rooms for a set period of time. We have a lot if problems with games abuse during tutor time!

COuld anyone tell me what permissions i need in place so that FMS will run? I have gone through the normal stuff and also the PDOXUSRS file and FMS will run but will not open the suppliers list? Any ideas?

Is there anyway you can export a room timetable out of Sims into Outlook manually?

Does anyone know of a report or is it possible to design one that will show me all the teachers of a particular year group?

I can get you the report to show total points in a date range but have no idea how to - the achievement from the behaviour. Is this any good?

Are you saying you want someone to compose one for you or to tell you how?

We have used them about a dozen times mainly for Windows courses. They are good and also very friendly people. I would defo recommend them.

Yes, on ours this shows our full school name against our SIteID.

This should contain your school name?

is the 1st box your Site ID or your Administration Service?

We use this as well but no good for when you want to look at a class at a time really.

Go to Tools>InTouch>Service Setup and click on the 'test' button and see if they all say 'Connection Succeded' Let me know.

I think we would only include Eng, Maths & Science at this stage but i do agree that we would quickly have to change to include the BAC.

Help, Firstly I know nothing about Assessment manager so bear with me, I have been asked if it is possible to have marksheets set up for tutor groups. I know each member of staff get them for their classes for data collection but I have been asked if it is possible for each tutor to have a read only marksheet that has the latest CAP data for the core subjects and also stuff like EAL, SEN etc Sorry if this is vague but have no idea!

We use InTouch and had to spend a couple of hours getting our data right but it is easier now as the last two Sims updates have included quicker ways of updating your data. Never used SchoolComms so cant comment but we have been really impressed with InTouch but as you mention it is pricey. We also have Emerge and have a site license for this and to be honest could not be without it. It used by most of our staff who have ipads and is also useful for trips etc. I think both of the above are Pricey and having used both daily I wish Capita could bring prices down to encourage more schools to use it.
