Had a report today from one of my teachers that on some machines in the room when he unblanks the screens using the tutor portion of NetSupport Schools some screens do not comeback on and the users have to restart to get any display. Anyone else had this issue? Many Thanks I

I have a user who no matter what can not get the external shortcuts to frequent docs to work, for other users (even on the same computer but logged into sims as a different user) they open fine but this one user can not seem to be able to open the shortcut she creates. Any pointers, thanks

Hi all one of my users is having a problem with the workforce census, this is the descriptions she sent me below, anyone have any ideas/pointers? Error Code 4720 Work force census issue post is inconsistent with role identifier. Getting this error code when running the census in SIMS. Looked at various options of swopping post and role but nothing seems to work. Looked at pay scales and all looks ok, the SEN role is in there, but the two areas don’t seem to be mapping together. The staff member in question is a teacher who had a dual role of class teacher and SENCO. This terminated 31/08/2018 and from 01/09/2018 they have been purely SENCO with no teaching responsibilities. She has gone from a teacher contract to a support contract. Many Thanks

I have a weird problem with deploying 1803 using SCCM, all I am doing is deploying the O/S, I have stripped out the apps and windows update sections of the task sequence. It copies sets up driver etc, but on reboot it get the following screen and clicking next looks like it's doing something but then just reboot back to the same screen. Deploying LTSB 2019 works perfectly and so did this deploy of 1803 until recently when it started to throw this screen up. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Tried it with a local profile, still doesn't create the folder.

I am having an issue with it not creating the user folder for the settings in the first place so nothing gets applied. I am using LTSB 2019 and have followed everything to the letter, although I am using a mandatory profile.

Interesting, I won't be able to go to the meeting but would be interested to hear when you will be available in Portsmouth.

Was looking to sort something local/in house so as to avoid any GDPR/Safeguarding issues.

Looking at providing web space for students internally so they can upload websites and create e-portfolios etc. Does anyone currently do this or done it, if so how did you go about it. I am looking to have GP create a mapped drive to their designated user webspace so they can just dump files and then navigate to the website. Thanks in advance.

Weird problem, We use Salamander to pull calendar data from SIMS, all of our inset days are showing as 2 days in the outlook calendar, but only 1 day in SIMS timeline. I am not sure if this is something that has been set in SIMS where all inset days are 2 days or if it's a salamander porting issue? Any ideas?

Is that an add on or built in as we have net2 here and would be interested in how to set this up? Thanks

We just cover it in the admissions pack. In fact we had one parent who had declined for her daughters photo to be published on any medium, so on the transition tutor photo we blurred the child out.

All of our transition students have signed and returned their admission packs before transition day which includes the photo permission forms, so we already have it all in place.
