We have around 40 cameras on display in the IT office, but who has time to sit and stare at them all day.

I agree with Steve, the lack of information from the website is worrying for me and probably many others.

Personally I don't like the fact that there is not a single screenshot of the product on the website, I like to see the product in the first instance not necessarily go to all the trouble of having to sit through a demo before deciding if it holds any interest for me. Any product that forces me to have a demo to see it does not get a second glance. Just my 2 cents.

I managed to get the Layout to appear, we currently use mandatory profiles, if I use a roaming profile and ensure the links are in the start menu folder for the default user then the icons show as per the layout as it automatically copies them from the default user to the roaming profile. I then tried mandatory with redirected appdata but 1. it does not copy the folders from default user to the re-directed Appdata folders and 2. even if you add in links to the redirected folders it still does not show as per the required layout. Wonder if moving to UEV will make my life any easier as I do not want to return to Roaming profiles. None of this resolves a potential issue of if I install new software after a user has first logged in not showing up. What was wrong with the old start menu system!!!!%$%^

The software is installed on the test machine and the the shortcuts are in the %ALLUSERSPROFILE% folder but they do not pop up when I log in using the domain account, only 3d Paint and Edge show.

I created the layout using the local admin account and exported it from there, do I need to create it using a domain account?

Having a pain of a time with trying to get win 10 to deploy a start menu layout using group policy. In my test with MDT integrated into SCCM I have deployed Edu 1709, then as part of the task installed Office 2016. I arranged and exported the layout as per the MS suggestion yet when I log in as a domain user all I get is the Edge and Paint 3D tiles that I set, not the office ones, office does not even appear int he alphabetical list even thought the links are in the %ALLUSERSPROFILE% area. Appears fine using the local admin account (where it was exported from), just not a domain user. Any ideas where I have gone wrong?

A user is trying to use all the features in Smart Notebook 17 and it requires her to log into a smart account which it says needs to be enabled in Office 365. Anyone come across this and know where in Office 365 I set this? Many Thanks

Bit of a cheek but I was wondering if people could post what their regular daily, weekly and monthly tasks are. I am just trying to build a picture for better processes here where we don't really have anything scheduled as such on a regular basis. Do some of you even have fixed tasks that you do on a daily weekly monthly basis or are you on a more reactionary ad-hoc system.

That's why Vettel managed to finish 4th on Sunday but Hamilton could only manage 9th even though he has the best car.......... You will see Hamilton crying and moaning next year when he does not have the best car on the grid.

Hahah really, the only 2 teams he has been with are Mclaren and Mercedes, he left McLaren when they were no longer winning....and went to Mercedes. In the last race he struggled to get past Alonso who had an inferior car. In equal cars Hamilton is the 4th best driver, possibly even 5th. Agree on the V8s though

MLS must have the worst support going, I have been trying to resolve an issue with ad syncing for over a week now and each time I call it's over an hour wait. Whenever we trying and sync it gets to the end and throws this error: Spent 3 hours on the phone in total now with no resolution.

I am looking at a project to offer each student some proper webspace internally, I want to offer PHP, mysql etc. as well as other technologies Has anyone done this and how did you go about it, I would like to set it up so when they log in they have their webspace as a mapped drive ready to drop files in and they can browse to http://webserver/Username to view their files.

I contacted MLS support last week, an hour sat on hold is not acceptable, I have better things to do with my time. On a positive note, once I actually got through the support was great and the sent me instructions on how to fix the problem.

Being an Ex-Royal Engineer myself I have a lot less tolerance of *that* recruit, especially in civvy street where in my experience they seem to be quite numerous
