It does seem to be blocking sites though as I tested it tethered to my phone so it wasn't connected to our on prem smoothwall.

Hi, I have been following the instructions sent to us by our ISP on how to set devices up for cloud filtering. I have a domain joined device I am going to give to a student to use at home, the Unified Client Agent installed using Group Policy and it set the serial etc but I only get Mode 1 on the diagnostics page. Is there anything I have missed, I am following the instructions set out here Install CloudFilter on Win 10 Domain joined devices.

Have a problem with Groupcall Emerge Management Console , whenever I open it and click on any tab in the software it just throws this error: Anyone have any pointers, I did raise a call with Groupcall yesterday but they are yet to respond. TIA

Thanks Steve, will do some research on how to add that SID back in if possible otherwise I may have to remove hyper-v and reinstall it.

The permissions are screwed on some for example this shows the vm having only read permissions to the VHDX file: When I try and give the VM id full control I just get this error: Is there anyway to reset the permissions on the VM's without rebuilding Hyper-V on the server?

All seems to match up apart from on the VHD which has a missing GUID which I assume is from the old VM id before I re-created it.

Thanks Steve, not sure if I am honest I have deleted and recreated the VMs a couple of times from the VHDs, some of the VM folders have checkpoint folders with check points in but these are from the old VM IDs before I re-created them no VM's show as having any checkpoints in hyper-v

I noticed that the path for the VHD was to a different folder that the VM folder I changed it and am now able to make VM's again, for now . Just the checkpoint issue now.

Used to be but the VMs are no longer highly available, the host is still a node in the cluster though.

Hi all, Had a sudden problem start on one of my Hyper-V hosts. 3 of the VM's fail their Veeam backup as they are now unable to create check points, when you try to create a checkpoint on the Hyper-V for the VM it just fails with just a generic error: When I try and make a new virtual machine I get the following error: Other than that the existing VMs run fine and can be rebooted fine and looking through event viewer doesn't really shed any further light. Anyone able to offer any advice? TIA

They has messed the junction box connections good and proper, no way it is going to work.

We get our Sparkys to run it and then we terminate, works well.

We have the EES agreement with a couple of additions such as SQL, intune and SCCM. the required licenses are based on the FTE staff so if they work Part time you don't include them. Includes all the CALs as well, Cheap as chips.

No one has any opinions to offer on an alternative to Vericool?

We have had this exact problem start last week for 1 or 2 users, there is an incident under service health saying Some users may not be able to send or receive email.

We are looking to upgrade our cashless catering system, currently with Vericool. We are looking between a straight upgrade to Vericool's SwiftQ platform or moving to a new provider we did have a quote a year ago from BioStore. Can anyone provide any recommendations for a supplier or if you use SwiftQ what are your thoughts. Thanks

I have now found a use for the Ubiquiti trial gear I had after the recent hack, although this one isn't P0wned as it has been off for 2 years.

Anybody know what the Data allowances were on the Hauwei dongles provided by the DfE and if you can increase them EDIT: Just received an email from the DfE they have extended the contract on the dongles to the end of July!!! Does not bode well for students returning anytime soon, the data is reset on the first of each month to 20GB.
