i think mine at the mo is averaging 24k a day. though a couple of 50k+ jobs have helped that.
-
Do we need to re-post the "whattup" video? DO WE?!
-
or you could just join the same team as rawns and declare a truce. that usually ends up in gunfire practice....or helicopters being flown in to the ground next to you
-
If you haven't hired a driver called Ernie you should just stop playing the game now!
-
I got back in to it the last couple of days. Now have two garages and 4 drivers plus me. The Goat Friskers empire is slowly building!
-
That's probably because I was sat in the passenger seat of a car you were in control of....and now my charred body is at the side of the road
-
Good morning Mr Pot, how are you?
-
That's what I do, turn on all lights including fog lights at night and all you get are cars flashing at you. Worst thing I had was pulling out of a factory, crashed in to a car, went over him so the cab was stuck and I couldn't move. Then started getting fined for wrong way offences! I couldn't move and I was being fined for going the wrong way.....three times!!!
-
We got in to a few tank battles....I also got kicked from the server when me and Chris played on there as I rocked up next to a new blue base and shelled it constantly with a military offroader with grenade launcher. Took out 2 or 3 friendlies before I was dismissed

I think I'll steer clear of the standalone for a while longer. It appears the only things being added/modified at the moment are aesthetic things. I mean seriously, was Chernarus the crash helmet production centre for the world? Also things like painting guns and stuff. Don't get me wrong, still love the game, but I'll wait until some more pressing issues have been resolved before jumping back in. BTW @Rawns you missed some fantastic wasteland action....well, I say fantastic.....

My thought has always been 3 tickets at £440 each compared to a £60k payout....
-
I've regularly shaved time off to the point I'd have needed rest before the end and now don't (usually by an hour or so). And it was quite fun actually....sliding sideways in the cab, then magically righting yourself. I don't think the truck I ran in to was too impressed, but who cares
-
Note to self : 80mph and sharp corners do not mix, as I found out as my cab went sideways for a few hundred metres, then righted itself and rear ended another truck. I don't think anyone will be buying the cars I was transporting.....at 40% damage so far!

Good old BBC. Can't wait for the next one of "Only Fools and Horses cast sign up for another series......including Trigger's halfwit son played by some nobody from a hip BBC3 comedy show"

Seems everyone is overlooking the Voodoo2

What a great time it is at the moment to be a PC Gamer :)

Fair enough, I can only talk from personal experience of using keyboard/mouse/USB XB360 controller so I can understand the frustration on that part -

Which is why I said it was a generalisation. I don't get how people keep mentioning drivers and such though. When I installed Win7 about 3 years ago I installed the Nvidia driver, and since then that is it. Again I understand there are many not in the same boat, but for the most part, drivers will cause as much problem to your gaming experience as the trouble of not having batteries in your controller or TV remote with your console. -

I think a part of the PC-Console "war" is that a majority of console gamers are teens or younger, so get to play Generic Shoot-em-up 5 on their parents 50" LED TV. Buy them a PC and they get to play the same game on a 21" monitor. Parents are generally not going to buy a 50" monitor for the kid, and they also lose the ability to play on a sofa. The TV is a key part to the console draw. If all PS4/XBOne games were played on the same hardware but on 21" monitors, while sat in a smaller room on an office chair, it wouldn't have the same appeal So developers could make all the AAA titles they want available for the PC, but the mindset of not being able to play on a very large screen in the living room but instead on a small screen while sat most likely on an office chair will still stop some people committing. Yes I know there would be alternatives, it's just a generalisation -

The lack of so-called AAA titles doesn't bother me a bit. Most of the AAA titles are rubbish and rely solely on flashy graphics, gimmicks and hype. Unfortunately console makers pander to this and design consoles with (supposedly) high quality graphics cards. Titles like CoD/BF/FIFA and such like are basic rehashes of the same game year on year with improved graphics, and generally with a mention somewhere of a new physics engine. I'd much rather PC gaming (can only really talk of Steam and Bundle sites at the mo) carry on as they are; selling the occasional big name game but also having a lot of games that are fun, challenging and most importantly don't rely solely on graphics to sell. Two such games, Rogue Legacy and Hammerwatch. Both have very low graphics requirements, but both are extremely fun. I'm completely with @X-13 here, if I want a TV, I'll buy a TV, not a TV with ability to send tweets and browse Youtube. If I want to play a console game, I want to be able to buy a console, not a device that can control everything else around it and thinks it is part of Skynet! -
I'd have thought with those emails showing he was extorted in to it that would be proof enough (OK I know emails can be faked, but in this case to what gain). He could also draw on the proof of credit card details being changed, account info being changed to prove it was extorted. With this being in the US (I assume) he'll no doubt sue the relevant companies and make money. Plus, the username wasn't technically worth $50k. It might have been at that point in time one person offered him that amount, but surely it is only worth what someone is willing to pay at the present time.

Do you think you, Chris and Nerf would be up for a recall back to duty in Lingor? I'm sure @DMcGuigan could be persuaded too if we agreed on separate vehicles. Show @L3OUGH what Lingor shenanigans are REALLY like

I think if we could find a fairly populated server we could have some real fun. I do remember the server we all joined once that had a big group of people owning it, until we showed up and took both choppers off them and ran the server. we need to do that again. @Rawns are you doing the Dragonborn DLC or just skyrim? Only reason I went back was to do the new DLC missions which are quite fun. Is your teamspeak still up (renamed to BJB) or is it something else now?
-
I 100% concur with a group. You just need to get the rest of them to stop playing BF4 long enough to make it happen.

The other problem i always see with giving random details is how do you know the other end has it? Say your password is dog. I call you and say I'm from natwest, can you give me the first and third letter. You say D and G because you don't want it to be wrong, I say yes that is correct. At what point have either of us verified the other? If you give me the wrong details and I say correct, you might be on to something, but then if I am legit, you've now just given wrong details to your bank and they might start to doubt you! If you aren't the initiating the call it should always be treated with a hint of suspicion....always!

Yep that's how some scams have run. They tell you to hang up, call your bank then they do not hang up so the line is still active. You then pick up, and get through to what you believe is the bank who confirm everything when it's just another person on the same call. I've had the same with Natwest and did before with O2 as well....call to say can I confirm identity. I've said yes, can you confirm yours. A few times the "I'm calling from X" actually means "I'm calling from a company who X sold your details to".....Call from O2 but they had no idea about my contract and said I could upgrade early if I wanted a new phone...despite at the time being 3 months in to a new contract. Turned out it was a company that had my details from O2 and would get a bit of cash if I signed up for a new contract through them. Basically if you need me now, I'll call you
