The UPVC doors should seal properly without foam draught excluder, it may be that the door and latches needs adjusting for proper closure. Unfortunatly it may be time to risk calling a window and door company to service and adjust the door. Why not use the native IPad Sims Client? Ya know, the one that management must belive exists as it's an apple and it can do anything... Oh hold on, it's a consumer device not a business device.. But on a serious note, if you have never tried using RDP or any other remote session from a touch tablet then be prepared for a dissapointing experience. And using a product like full blown SIMS is goin to be quite awkward and the potential for mistakes to be made is much greater than on a proper device. You need to find out how the autoconfigure is being delivered, and then work out what "Autoconfigure" is setting up. It may be that Autoconfigure is pointing at something different to the TMG and TMG is having DNS or other issues. Rob

Hardware failure wise, unless you go diskless then a hardware failure will be the same regardless of FAT/THIN We just use the orignial OS on it's original HDD with the OS Set in Kiosk mode. then connect with Citrix reciver. If A HDD fails we can chuck in a spare. We just pulled 110 of our thin HP laptops ( installed new thin terminals. ) We envisage that these 3 yr old machines will provide spare parts for a further 3 or more years on the remaining 190 thin laptops and their 150 fat counterparts.. Is this to make money? 1) if it has a COA sticker then you can re-install the operating system on the sticker. Else Linux. 2) Must be datawiped. Things to consider. 1) if they are paying for it and it goes wrong what are you going to do when they come to you? 2) if they get linux and can't use it and come to you what are you going to do? 3) it will need to be electricaly tested befor transfer. 4) if giving them linux how will you make it useful to them 5) what happens if they dump it in a skip in 18 months and the waste management company finds your school details on it. how is the browser getting the auto config PAC file, what is the content of the PAC file and how does it differ to what you put in manualy? Rob

If you do have to policies in force on the same car, you should in theory tell both insurance companies of a claim but indicate that there is also another policy in force. Then they need to work it ot between each other to split the pay out. I use Multicar insurance so adding and removing cars is not so much of a problem. Rob
