And that costs £ thousands too. you can get asymetric FTTC fiber broadband in many areas from a lot of suppliers. stick the postcode of the premis into samknows broadband checker and see if fiber is available in the area. Backend can run on fairly basic hardware , add a second hand wintv nova-t500 and you can record off two muxes and multiple channels on one mux with virtual tuners. My next incarnation is going to live on vmware. WBC valuations are a joke, they valued my old Merc at £130 ( not even scrap value ) and I sold it for £650 I have sold 4 cars on ebay over the last couple of years. Ebay generaly have free listing weekends fortnightly. You only pay the final value fee. List it at teh price you want and that should cut out most fo the chaff. Rob

That's just elitisim. I have a HP DC8000 not a clue on the specification but it's fairly bog standard, I could get by on a T5740 thin terminal apart from a few ocasional jobs. Rob
