You need to fault find your PowerEdge R710, there's litterally a million and one things it could be and impossible to diagnose on a forum. Personally I would start by removing the power cables, hold down the power button on the server to drain any residual power in the power supplies and then remove the power supplies from the server. Put one of the power supplies back in to the server and plug it in and see what happens. Take the lid off of the server and see if there are any LEDS illuminated on the motherboard. It could be absolutely anything from the RAM, CPU(s), storage devices, PSU, Motherboard, any installed expansion cards - the list goes on...

I really don't know what to say. Keep putting in any old wrong password and after a few attempts it will be locked out. Once locked out follow the instructions on the website to unlock it. When unlocked you will then be in the BIOS without having entered a password, then go to security and set an admin password or clear the password by entering a blank one twice.

We've got quite a few W11 24h2 machines and we too have an on premise smoothwall box at all out sites and no problems here (touch wood). Only thing I'd say it to make sure you're on the latest firmware on your smoothwall box.

The only thing I would say is watch out for flying hinge covers as they tend to ping off with a lot of use. I think it's due to the hinge weakening the plastic bezel around the screen so with repeated opening and closing it puts a lot of stress on the cover until the clips finally give way and it pings off!!

We have a Mevo MV1-01A-BL that can stream live events directly to YouTube or record on to a memory card or via USB. It's wireless and has a rechargeable battery. Dont think this model is made any more but there should be a replacement. It's designed for live event recording.

I've used conductive tape in the past to do that, the connector are actually a standard sort of connector but for the life of me I cannot recall the name of them as I purchased a few of them from Aliexpress for personal use a few years back. If you look on eBay and even Amazon you can find quite a lot of people on there selling them. I thought they were soldered to the battery too but after learning the hard way (the battery shot across the room at 200MPH!!) they are actually spot welded to the battery but a spot welder from the likes of CPC or RS Components is a few hundred quid and conductuve tape and some heat shring tubing is a lot less money so I do it that way instead! I think I did a YouTube video on me using the tape if I remember correctly.

The last Pandemic began in 2019 (hence the 19 in COVID19) and the one previous to that was 1918 so on average the next Pandmic is due around 2118ish so that's the most likely time the DfE would consider more laptops...

Are you sure it's soldered to the motherboard as from the looks of it, its has two wires with a plug on the end so you just unplug it and replace it with a new one? A lot of old laptops have this way of installing a CMOS battery. If it's soldered to the motherboard then it's likely to be a recharchable Varta battery but that's a really, really old way of doing it.

Seen this with plenty of different laptop brands over the years; Acer, Dell, Lenovo and HP. Sometimes you can get a replacement bezel/cover that can resolve the issue or there are plenty of youtube videos showing you how you can glue the hinge back in to place as well but I've not had a chance to try that method myself yet as (touch wood) the hinges on our current cheap laptops seem to be holding strong, for now...

May I enquire as to your reason for upgrading the 2 most important servers so soon after release? I've not read up on 2025 too much, what features were you hoping to make use of on the DC that you dont get with a DC on 2022 for example? We've got a couple of 2016 service still to upgrade to 2022 first before we look at 2025 as for example I know our DPM server if upgraded to 2025 wont be able to back them up.

On the DC that is your DHCP server, open up DHCP and then for each Scope you have, click on Scope Options and then edit 006 DNS Servers and remove the one you dont want to be there.

You need to read the terms and conditions you have in your contract with them regarding the SLA they have provided you with. What's the penalty if they don't meet the SLA do you get a partial refund of the money you paid for the service? It could be that your third party needs another third party to do something before they can then solve the problem so it's out of their hands. It's all in the fine print of whatever you agreed to when you signed the contract with them.

I believe Google are looking at blocking that soon as it's not legal to block the YouTube adverts as per the terms and condiftions you agree to when viewing their videos. I believe smoothwall are doing some tinkering to their filtering system that basically tricks YouTube in to thinking the adverts are being viewed when they are not.

Hopefully now Impero Software has been sold the new owners will invest in developing the software in to something much better.

Normally you should be able to get hold of an ISO from the Internet Archive but they had a DDOS attack the other day so they've taken it offline whilst they work around the clock to re-secure their sites. It should be back up and running in a week or two so if not resolved by then, then have a look on https://www.archive.org/

Sounds like you need a motherboard repair. If it's just the USB-C port then with the right soldering re-work equipment it's a relatively easy repair if you can get hold of the USB-C port, if it's anything else then diagnostic time will probably not be cost effective.
