Re-subbed my account recently. At the moment trying out the Amarr T3 destroyers and grinding for rep with an NPC corp so I can store clones in their station. Play on and off - probably would play more if I joined a player corp. Like EVE. Gives you alot more freedom to do what you want.

Hive although not technically a board game is still a good shout. A mix of dominoes and chess.

There is a registry setting for S3 GUID in Windows. Change that and it will stop mismatching after each SOLUS3 update.

Maybe your part of a reality TV show and you just don't know it, lol

[sims] Solus3 "the remote machine cannot be detected"
Ghostgame replied to burnsyb0y's topic in MIS Systems
Stupid question, Did you flush the DNS when you set the DNS server? -
Not got Dragon Age: Inquisition yet? That might fulfil those fantasies.

@resin1 - to resolve this, I have had to reinstall SOLUS3. Removed the UI, service and databse via Programs and features. I did not remove the database from the SQL instance, as when you run the latest installers, the SOLUS3 database is upgraded. You will need to re-register SOLUS3 again before you can deploy updates but all your settings from 3.6.94 should be there. Update the agents by running the SOLUS3 update.

Installing Discover on SIMS server with solus 3.8
Ghostgame replied to techy32's topic in MIS Systems
In SOLUS3 --> Enviroment --> Targets is where you define all the settings for SIMS, FMS and Discover. The database tab is where you define the server and sql instance the database is on, the database name for discover and then the authentication used for SOLUS3 to access Discover. The services tab is where you define server, install path, time when Discover refreshes its database with SIMS data and the account types. Clients tab is where you define which SOLUS3 agents have a discover client (just make sure to include the server even if Discover is not going to be used). -
Installing Discover on SIMS server with solus 3.8
Ghostgame replied to techy32's topic in MIS Systems
You configure the settings for Discover in SOLUS3. Once done, you then deploy the latest Discover upgrade. That should install Discover on the server for you. -
Check what logon the SQL Server is running on. Change it to the Local System account, restart and see if that works.

Take a look in the SOLUS3 Enviroment --> Configure Workstations In the SIMS.ini tab you can specify a different location for SIMS and FMS to install to. Include the SIMS .net folder or FMSSQL folder in the different location otherwise it will get a bit messy. Select Save & Send to Agents. Will only take effect when you run an update, install a SOLUS3 agent. SOLUS3 always makes the default location for installing SIMS/FMS as C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\... If it can't find that, the next default is C:\Program Files\... Hope this helps.

EVE Valkyrie is going to be Oculus supported and probably less of a time sink. Looks just as stunning if I'm any judge but its going to be less emersive (e.g. can't walk round the cockpit.)

Ghostgame replied to soveryapt's topic in MIS Systems
Just don't add the SOLUS3 agent as part of your image. -

[sims] SIMS Documentation Index Files missing

Run SIMSCentralServerSetup.exe from the setups folder. That will fix the issue. -
Travel the world. It would be amazing just to be able to see different places and cultures.

My games: Bioshock Infinte (actually thought the game would have been alot better without the combat) Mass Effect Series Neverwinter Nights 2 (really enjoyed defending myself in court) Halo1 for definite.

If your moving SOLUS3 to another domain and the domain has a different name, uninstall the SOLUS3 agent from all workstations. There is a SOLUS3 config file in the agent that will keep the old domain name and stop all your agents from connecting to the server again when its moved. File is: Sims.Solus3.Agent.AgentService.exe.config Found: C:\Program Files\Solus3\AgentService If you don't feel like doing that, go round each workstation, amend the file and restart the SOLUS3 Agent service. If you have SOLUS3 agent v6.9 on the workstation, you might have the option to amend the server.domain in the SOLUS3 agent notifier on the workstations. Found in Start --> All Programs --> Solus3 Above all, DO NOT amend one Sims.Solus3.Agent.AgentService.exe.config file and then copy it to the rest of the workstations. This will cause you a whole wealth of additional issues due to each workstation having a unique agentID code in their Sims.Solus3.Agent.AgentService.exe.config file.

I have it on XB1. Must admit it gets a bit boring by myself since I have done the story. Gamertag: Ghostgame

Shaders are colour schemes for your armour, so it looks pretty. Emblems are for your ingame profile bar (?) to change the look and emblem in it.
-
Grimoire cards are the lore behind the game. To read them you have to go on Bungie's site or the companion app.
-
Here is a link for codes for shaders, grimoire cards and emblems. Used them yesterday and some of them are quite nice. Can't use the shaders yet as you have to be level 20. Enjoying the game at the moment (even if I am soloing it)
