I dont think any of the dns records would affect it but not 100% sure. How long did you disable his account for before trying a login as it may take a little bit to apply? I suspect that because the app is an office app it directly queries the office/ms urls rather than needing to discover like 3rd party apps for login etc.

Just a FYI cards that come overclocked etc normally have tweaked firmware so the drivers shouldnt matter as the card will run the way it's supposed too with them.

Yeah seems a bit crazy. Firstly make sure you have full control of the domain and that they dont have subaccount access before doing anything. This will help prevent you being held hostage to manage your dns records.

What do they provide regarding email for that £1.5K a year? If the o365 is owned by you as part of your VL and you turn out to have control of the domain I am struggling to see what they provide.
