Moving from Google to Office 365 - Migration Tips?

I used migrationwiz which basically would do an initial pull and then when you went to switch it would check for changes and move that across. -
Moving from Google to Office 365 - Migration Tips?
ZeroHour replied to abillybob's topic in Cloud Services
Removing labels is the key thing when migrating out. Labels cause duplicate email as Gmail exposes the mail item as a duplicate when accessed via imap. Aka you have an email titled "welcome" in inbox but also with the label "welcomes" imap will see the mail item in the inbox and in the a folder called "welcomes" and they will be 2 separate entities. The All mail folder also is a mass of duplicates over imap so when importing you should exclude that folder. Everything should either be in inbox/sent labels or if they want folders they should ensure they dont have any mail labeled "inbox" in that label. -
[ios app] Can't change notifications
ZeroHour replied to DalekSec's topic in EduGeek.net Site Problems
Try turning on push at the top but leaving them disabled. It seems to be working for me but I am on a slightly newer build right now. -

So your app install defaults were all disabled for push notifications but notifications still come through? -

Try opening the developer tools in either and see if it mentions any errors in there in the console or network tab.

[closed] android app: Links not working
ZeroHour replied to kearton's topic in EduGeek.net Site Problems
Yeah that would work as well, clearing the cache/restarting the app a couple of times should have also done it. -

Try clearing the cache and restarting the app a couple of times and tell me if that fixes it. -

Can you PM me that full url shown? -
Yeah that *should* work. Just double check its added when you upgrade your kernel next time. *Normally* variables get rolled up with kernel upgrades but its always better to check so I would put a note in to remind yourself on the MOTD on that server. I have not had to do the exact addition you are making before but I have added variables to the kernel before with AWS AMI linux.

Put it at the end of: title Sangoma Linux (3.10.0-862.9.1.el7.x86_64) 7 (Core) root (hd0,0) kernel /vmlinuz-3.10.0-862.9.1.el7.x86_64 ro root=UUID=d18da6e9-f0a3-4797-996f-3d9db2061993 rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_LVM LANG=en_US.UTF-8 rd_NO_MD SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 crashkernel=auto KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=us rd_NO_DM rhgb quiet initrd /initramfs-3.10.0-862.9.1.el7.x86_64.img With a space. Dont add it to all your kernel lines in case it goes wrong, you should be able to boot to an older kernel version at least as long as they have not auto removed. Take an snapshot in hyperv as well

Microsoft Office best licensing option for small business
ZeroHour replied to Sonic007's topic in Licensing Questions
Do you already have an email solution? Would this be 10 - 15 people or 10 - 15 machines with say 8 users? o365 may be an option. -
I keep suspecting this is being caused by the intel graphics. What model is the onboard? Intel have a pretty shocking history of drivers, for example the latest one for my pc for 1809 broke hdmi sound output to 2.0 rather than 5.1. Rolling back fixed it, ironically the notes said they had *fixed* a bug relating to sound detection via hdmi. Are you using the inbuilt w10 drivers or the ones from Intel's site?

Yeah I can put reports into your own area in VB but I will see if the new system does it.

Do you want them to be bluetooth? When you say buds do you mean cans as most of the buds I have seen have silicon tips of various sizes you can change? I bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beats-Dr-Dre-BeatsX-Earphones-Black/dp/B01LW9IKX7/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1537028114&sr=1-4 when I decided to go wireless and it had a w1 chip which made it a dream to use on iPhone but they are not the cheapest but they charge with lightning which is nice. They do go on sale for a bit less than the current price but its still probably a bit high for you. They are not crazy bass loaded like normal beats either.

It seems like the notifications being pushed by them are bugged. I will see if there are any other reports. There are differences between the EduGeek app and the current iOS Tapatalk as they keep tweaking Tapatalk much to the chargrin of its users.
-
Hrm is that on Android or iOS? Are you using the EduGeek app or Tapatalk?

Congrats! Just drop me a PM with your new username and I will sort that for you.
