  1. It's been a while since I created any CC3 packages, but could you create a bat file to call the 2 exes in turn, and then use in the package ini file?
  2. I've fixed my problem too - OS software update. Now,to fix all those other problems...
  3. I am seeing the same problem with OS X 10.5.6. I am very new to this, so be gentle - saw Mac server for the first time yesterday!
  4. I believe RM have some documentation on setting up PCounter - might be worth a search on their Knowledge Base. We use it on our CC4 network, and would never go back to print credits.
  5. Have you used the blueprint for 10.1? Worked perfectly here.
  6. I have to support Holland, my honorary son-in-law is Dutch, and if I want to talk to my daughter again I have to support the Dutch.
  7. Back up Exec, taking a full backup every Friday (which completes some time Monday morning), and incremental backups Monday to Thursday. Disk to Disk to Tape, with the most recent Friday backup and daily backup taken off site. We run a SQL backup from FMS and SIMS prior to the tape backup running, which is then copied to the tape and overwritten the next day.
  8. Yes, the 80/20 rule post appeared as I was writing my reply. I have read it, and stand corrected
  9. I was under the impression that you could only have one DHCP server on a network, and more that that would result in duplicate IPs being issued.
  10. If you have access to rm.com look for TEC1395295 - it has the solution to your problem
  11. That's my old school tie! Not sure I could still find it though.
  12. A further bit of information - attempting to run the set up from Setup.exe on the DVD produces the same error
  13. Thank you - I'll harvest the log files now. To answer your other questions: I am currently testing the msi by running the command "msiexec /i <> /quiet" at the command line, however I intend to distribute the package using the RM CC4 tools, which deploy msi's in a similar manner to SCCM. I'm packaging Photoshop at the moment, but intend to package the other applications once successful with this one. Windows XP SP3
  14. I'm afraid I did select the default location
  15. Sorry! Windows - a CC4 network, but the msi I've created doesn't install on a vanilla machine either.
  16. I'm using the AAMEE and have created a package, but attempting to deploy it fails. Checking the logs I see "Unable to locate folder for token UserDocuments" and "Exit Code: 7 - Unable to complete Silent workflow" I can't find anything on Adoe's website - anyone have any ideas?
  17. Have they compressed the files in their user area? That has the seen effect.
  18. Exactly. You can only put one address in the forward to field though, so you can't forward to more than one user, unless you create a mailing list, and forward to that
  19. Go to the properties on the [email protected] mailbox and select Mail Flow Settings. Highlight Delivery Options and click Properties. Tick the forward to box, browse to [email protected]. Tick the "Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox". Done.
  20. If we give away old laptops (and to be honest, once they get to the point we can't use them, they are only fit to be door stops) I install Ubunto on them. Minimal work involved, and no licencing issues to come back to the school.
  21. I've been told it's a known issue with youtube and IE7 behind a proxy. We advise teachers (as students don't have access to youtube) to find the video they want on google video - usually the same content, but it works.
  22. About to receive a demo - looks interesting.
  23. I checked the error numbers on Sophos' Knowledge Base - the error is caused by a corrupt file in the parent update source
  24. As far as I can see the library is there, but I can't download any updates from it - I've logged a call
