I have used for years Pure it refurbished/ good stock, they source equipment themselves, good support and so far cheapest. They even offer us 5yrs warranty. IDNS was quite more expensive for same items. Bought only desktops so far. @ICTDirect_Dave do you sell refurbished chromebooks?

Today recieved this email from Google, I have some accounts that use that functionality (less secure apps) and checking now how can I sort it. One is Veeam.

Can barely type with more than few fingers, keep glancing at the keyboards ever so often, but not all the time. Can't type and talk to people at the same time. I just loose focus. Can't understand how people can type and have meaningful conversation at the same time.

Just installed file, person who runs census get error message "unable to generate the return file" - she is new and I wonder if there are missing permissions on some folder in s:\ drive. As it runs for me fine. Any ideas?

Had problem with printing registers. Patch fixed it, current version of sims 7.190.31.2. Hopefully no more issues

I envy your SIMS db We don't run PARS. not sure what it is is, but we run intouch. I have started reindexing patch and got error message it has timed out. But left DB in restricted user mode, so came to school to be told half of staff can't login. Put it back into multi-user and it is working, not sure about performance yet. We have deleted recently lost of student data - bulk delete, up to 2009. It doesn't seem like it shrank the size at all

Guys I wonder if you could check how big is your sims database file - our was 17,5GB , each time we run re-index patch it grows, by few GB. Is that normal? We are secondary school, 1200 pupils on roll, nothing special really. Few years back it was around 5GB

Well, I have another teacher complaining that a course requires MP4 videos and easiest would be to download them from YT. Told the teacher, it is against copy right and there is no legal way of doing it - quotes gov webpage. Of course she told me "but other schools do it!" you can't just import reg file, it has to be xml - tried a script to convert it but it failed. Sorry for my ignorance, but how do you redistribute that reg file through the GPO?

I have implemented GPO that should remove OneNote printer, but to the computers OU, maybe I should place it in user OU -as printers still appearing.

I think I might know why I have errors In Windows 7 we use to have Basic redirection and than path %HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH%\Desktop - when we have error it doesn't like that path. Windows 10 according to MS guid should have Basic redirection with option of Create a folder for each user under the root path and I have added direct root path for the server so it looks like \\servername\StaffHome\Teaching and will create folder underneath for each user. Now the testing phase, works for my dummy user , will move guinea pig teacher and will see if she loses her docs during the day.

Thanks @Joanne for you replies We have basic redirection - to redirect users to their home directory and it is defined in AD Users and Computers MMC in profile tab \\servername\studenthome\adminision_year\%username% staff is very similar. We moved to Windows 10 from 7 , September 2018 and had no problems. It started last school year, I think May time, so I think it might have been some Windows Update that caused that. Checked GPOs for Authenticated User permissions and all is fine in there. It is really annoying. As the user don't get their files. We could have 30 kids in the class and only one is affected. Deleting local profile seem to fix it. As we get other error with folder redirection: Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to "%HOMESHARE%\Users\username" - so it might totally different to your problem.

Verbose on, we have only 2 policies for folder redirections. And mostly they work fine, but ever so often we have either teacher or students , that when they logon, that policy doesn't work and we see errors in event viewer. That is the main problem for me, it mostly works, but on some occasions it doesn't- it just doesn't make sense

Hey @Joanne have you found the solution? We having similar issue occasionally, for some user it just doesn't work when they log in , but later documents appear.

Thanks @Jinnantonixx I think we are license for 4 cores and that what VM server has, but will run the query. CPU was 8% but I didn't check how the cores loads looks like. Update:
