It may not have been user error if the system decided it needed to be redirected and admin@domain is set as the email to flag it to.

I have had similar and it is linked to personal data being in an email, so it is being flagged to the admin, you. But I have not been able to find the process that does this or how to turn it off. I think it is something like data leakage protection. It is really annoying that it doesn't flag the email in any way, shape of form as I start reading the email, get confused about why I have been sent this and then realise I haven't been.

OneNote jumped out at me first. Could be part of a team so it could be overseen. First thought would be a section per year and then either allow the pupils to create pages for events or be more rigid and have a page per term they fill up.

Ah, we added it to our domain as we were not happy having an unmanaged device on our network.

Why use a script? If you share the folder where the console is and have the shortcut point directly there you can just deploy the shortcut. Does sound like a connection limit though.

I re-found the Synology have an M365 backup free as part of their devices, so if you have a Synology device, and have space, you can back up to site for free.

Baseline is a good word. Anything over 5 years gets a bit hazy, but you know you should be replacing hardware at certain points and if contracts are up for renewal, etc. A development plan or roadmap shouldn't be set in stone, it needs to be a dynamic, living document that changes based on the school and the general environment. Extra funding is sometimes found so future plans can be initiated earlier or, the reverse, funding needs to be redirected so it is nice to show what things can be delayed, by how long and what the consequences are.

First question you should ask is where is their 5 year plan? The IT development plan should support the School development plan. If they don't have one, or won't let you have access, your plan will be a generic replacement plan.

Have you tried a repair or reset of the photos app? If you go into the app list and find and select Microsoft Photos, click the Advanced Options then scroll down and there should be the Repair and the Reset options.

Does it happen on Outlook when used off your school internet? From home? That would narrow it down from your system to M365.

A batch of new hardware went out with drives that were under spec. It meant internet would hang for everyone if it got busy as the drives couldn't keep up so were a bottleneck. If your box is performing OK then yours is fine, ours happened about a year ago.

Simplest option: All presenters are made presenters in the meeting and share their content as needed. They can control audience being muted and audience can ask questions via chat. Using Spotlight, presenter can be forced to be main camera view when talking or the person asking a question if you want them to ask over video. Easy to setup but need to trust the presenters to be able to manage it themselves. No extra kit needed. Harder option: lots of devices with cameras and using the Broadcast feature someone will be able to mix them together. Will need someone acting as the producer/director. Only really worth it if you are adding external cameras to broadcast someone doing an actual real life presentation. Less interactive as the audience can only ask text questions and more complex with many setting up many devices. Need as many extra cameras and devices as angles wanted. Best if any files are shared in advance so the director can have them ready to be shared in sequence. Techy option: OBS with feeds that then is fed into Teams. Think you need a higher Teams license to run this but allows you to mix titles in, Picture in Picture and make it look more like a broadcast. All points are the same as the harder option with the added technicality of using an extra piece of software. From your points list: - Multiple angles camera. I'd check if they are really needed, are presenters really going to be treading the stage? - Sound. Same question as camera angles. If they are just in front of a PC why complicate it. - Interactive. What kind of interaction? Very different interactivity in a meeting to a broadcast or webinar. - Camera ability. This sounds like they want someone presenting to a big room and also people able to watch or have it recorded. You can get cameras that auto pan but they will cast. Realistically you are looking at some one manning the camera and manually moving a tripod control. First you need to find out where they are presenting as the room may not lend it self to be recorded in if it is full of people. Also the person manning the camera will not be able to be the director or involved with the presentation. Well, they could but it will be pressurised! Hope that helps a bit.

We are doing exactly the same at the moment. We are looking at the Sharp systems, they have two options. Once I get a quote through I can let you know more info. Alternatively, if we get told we have no money, we will just stick a large screen up on the wall and run some cables.

Could go the nuclear option and cancel. They have missed their window of opportunity. Then go to a company that will do as asked. I would be stuffed here if companies didn't deliver as requested as we have tight deadlines.

It was meant to be a 2 day course but where it was 1 to 1 and there didn't seem much point breaking for tea every couple of hours we smashed it out in one day. I do find the iSAMS reports quite confusing in how they are built, but that maybe just my poor little brain can't get itself wrapped around them. I can look at our report we had made by iSAMS and see how they did attendance if it helps? Ours only displays a percentage. Sounds like a visibility setting though, but why that would have been added, I'm not sure.

I do. Gradually taught myself from fiddling with the iSAMS reports to creating them from scratch. I'm sure mine aren't the best of the most efficient but they do what we need. @Danp have you done the iSAMS SSRS course? I did it during lockdown so it was a bit of an odd experience but the course was really good. It was 1 to 1 remotely and it gave a good grounding on the iSAMS way, tips and tricks and the like. I've found iSAMS pretty good on not charging for tweaks. I've just started looking at Power BI dashboards and that is a whole different kettle of fish!

That's what we have got. Noisy little blighter but the battery really lasts and it is great to take devices outside when they are really caked!

I may be misunderstanding but not all filters are content aware, most do not scan the page they only go by URL, so a new website that is not classified will either be allowed by default or with a specific rule blocked. I think there are only two that are fully content aware, Smoothwall and Openendium (spelling is probably wildly off sorry). You do need to be careful as I found a lot of the suppliers use the term 'content filtering' to mean they block the content of a webpage, not they read it and decide. I could never get an answer to what the alternative to this type of filtering was so what the differentiation was. If I understand the original question, you would need a default block rule, so everything is blocked, and then ensure that every category you want allowed is included in an allow rule. This would be pretty harshly locked down, but it is possible.
