@sted d'yknow how you said about swapping the wim file from the DVD with my image one? Well when I look on the server, my image wim file is 8MB and the one from the DVD is 3GB. There is also a Res.RWM file in there which is 21GB, which I figure is the *actual* image... any more guidance?

Gah! That cable doesn't PXE boot either :'( At this point I'm thinking staff might have to have full size laptops instead of shiny ultrabooks.

Yeah there is. HKLM - Software - Microsoft - Windows - Current Version - Authentication - LogonUI - Background The OEMBackground key needs to be set to 1. HOWEVER - this still doesn't work for me. It likes changing itself back to 0. I think you have to use GPO to set backgrounds too... I do that for pupils but not staff. Might be an issue. ALSO - the image needs to be less than 256kb I think.

Not to mention the electricity to charge it too....

Husbands Birthday next month, the big 3-0 We've been on a golfing holiday as a joint birthday present to ourselves, but I want to buy him a bit of something. If I ask him about a gift he says not to bother. He does this ALL THE TIME! I've also thought about ordering some business cards that advertise the channel... might be a nice idea. Maybe a go pro with a chest strap? Suppose if all else fails it's got to be a party.

I might be a bit naive here.. because I know nothing about citrix, but with the microbit I've used mine on a pc and a chrome book, it does appear as an external drive and when I go to the microbit website it saves the code to it... Are you getting any errors? Or just nothing? Do the microbits work ok on a normal fat client?
