idns.co.uk are worth a look at too. I tend to use a few suppliers, as each is good in their own way. AMC Computer Supplies tend to be great for us when it comes to small purchases because of the free delivery. They always beat Misco. Didn't realise Millgate did free delivery.

We use TASC Insight. Can't praise it enough! http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/145326-tasc-pars-connect-vs-iris-behaviour.html

Try unblocking vimeocdn.com too. That is where they host their assets.

I was told you buy enough CAL's to match the amount you purchased for the FTE, and Microsoft Accept this? Hmm?

    Great news about TAP @VeryPC_Colin.

I'd use an account per iPad if you want to use VPP effectively.

Let me know what you find. Maybe a reseller here can confirm? @VeryPC_Colin

Could you look at monitoring the servers CPU, RAM usage etc? What is the spec?

So we've paid for something we don't need then it seems, on the recommendation of our reseller. Edit: "First of all you’ll need to purchase the server license itself. You can choose between three options here*, depending on what you need to get done." http://blog.micromail.com/2013/07/01/beginners-guide-to-sql-server-licensing/

Well... well... well... Is that a recent thing?
  11. Edu-IT
Hang on... if I have the CAL's, does that mean I don't need to buy SQL Server licensing? :-S We have: Servers SQL - User CAL 2014 Servers SQL Server - Standard 2014

Is there an Unsubscribe link? Edit: Maybe the Mrs signed you up as a hint? I've had none from M&S today, just My Vouchers or something.

    Teacher PC's

We use Stone although when they're due a refresh, we'll shop around as always. Haven't had any problems with Stone thus far though.

Mine suddenly decides to start going down so I end up nearly sitting on the floor.

I tried to put the dirty washing in the bin the other day when I woke up, and then get into the car from the passenger side. That was a bad day.

TalkTalk and BT in Comedy Squabble Over Promotional Rocket Graphics - ISPreview UK Made me smile. Will be interesting to see what advertising comes next!

Can anyone recommend any Microsoft 2012 Server Training courses? Or, would the recommendation be to self study?

I just created another administrator account in the builtin users to test, and that one is doing the same, so it's not creating the profiles properly?
  20. Edu-IT
Apologies. It's actually the built in administrator account that is behaving this way.
  21. Edu-IT
Doesn't exist under Users and Profiles either.
  22. Edu-IT
From the C:\Users folder? It doesn't exist there.
  23. Edu-IT
    Yes it was.
  24. Edu-IT
No it's a pretty standard MSI.

There's some good combined vDSL kit out there. Draytek Vigor seems to be rated highly.
