Err: RM SafetyNet - SSL Filtering Certificate Test Confirms the certificate is installed. It isn't. I don't use RM. Anyone else get this? -
I used to but I stopped. Purely for the fact that so much goes on over Christmas, it gets a bit costly, and the line has to be drew somewhere.

That's interesting to hear. Ours are all mounted like this with one side facing a wall. That not good? http://www.wlanmall.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/900x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/9/0/902-0157-0000_2.jpeg

I would say 70 if he's looking to replace them all. -
I'd doubt such thing exists because it's very specific. You may need to provide more information about what the other program/application is, and what the change would be.

Right, so is there any way to monitor across all the ports? I don't see anything here in this list for that?

So does this mean it's costing them too much money to run for such a few people? Otherwise, I'd say what's the harm in keeping it going if it doesn't require any work from them?

I will have a look at the cable. Hopefully it's marked on it?
-
Well it's J4131A at one end at the moment so I assume it's currently 1000Base-SX at the other end too as it's all working fine. So if I stick to 1000Base-SX (if that's possible) I won't have to replace two bits? Is that right? Edit: For the switch I am looking at it's part J4858C http://www.misco.co.uk/product/43063/HP-Networking-Gigabit-SX-LC-Mini-GBIC-Module which is Cabling Type Ethernet 1000Base-SX according to the spec.

Ah. I see. I didn't even contemplate swapping the cable! Thank you.

I'm not too sure what I am on about here, so work with me! I have a switch that has one of these in where the fibre is connected to: J4131A - HP - HP J4131A Procurve Sx Transceiver Module (Refurbished) However I am looking into upgrading the switch in the area to a 1Gbps 24 port switch. Is there a HP switch that exists on the market today that would still accept these what I believe are fibre SX cables? Most now seem to reference SFP ports?
