    When we were buying credit, we did it through KRCS as a reseller, and all worked well.

    So it’s not obtaining an IP address. Have you configured anything such as DHCP and DNS etc or is it a clean install?

    Reminds me of a chat I had with BT when I was cancelling a paid entry. His sales pitch was about how will people find the business etc. I’m not sure what year he thought it was! He was really trying.

    So are there no hosted alternative products?

    Used Kayako in the past but really any system that supports multiple email addresses and/or rules will do the job.

    £1080 a year for how many handsets?

    Yes. But the company will be making some £ too. Perhaps putting a price on it prevents someone from ‘messing up’ the database as I assume there are rules and guidelines in place.

    What are the alternatives? Serious question.

    Fiverr is great for things like this. I can recommend it.

    But that’s a commercial product that in turn is writing back not something the school has created entirely for itself.

    So the Desktop Pack will still remain?

    Had loads of these on posts without issue, too.

    I would agree with this too. No need to worry about having apps for different operating systems either or whether they'll break with updates.

    Does anyone here have a pre-school as part of their school and if so, any suggestions for management software? (Funding, Invoices, Registers etc?)

    How many people? If just specific few you could setup a few virtual desktops for them to access.

    Do you have an acceptable use / behavior policy that says that charges for vandalism will be passed on?
