Seriously? opensource is great and a lot of the web filtering solutions on the market do contain opensource software however there is also a lot of work that goes in to them to make them relatively easy to use, manage and configure, with that number of users and especially if you need HA type deployment you should be looking at any of the big players in the web filtering market. Websense, Clearswift, Sophos, Smoothwall would be my recommendations. Ben

  17. I bought a new set of picks the other week and also a half euro cylinder with removable pins so been doing a bit of practice on that. Found I can pick one of my garden shed laptops in about 3 seconds, lol but been having fun with desk drawer locks and a couple of paper clips recently Ben

  19. If you try to man in the middle a device that doesn't have your proxys cert it will give a warning and if the user chooses to continue then you will de-crypt their ssl traffic, all adding your cert does it make this all transparent to the end user. Ben
  20. indeed any ssl interception is going to increase proxy load and as more and more sites switch to ssl your proxy will be doing more. What are the proxys running on virtualised hardward or a v5k or v10k appliance? Ben
