Transparent filtering also works across all devices - Twitter works, Whatsapp etc all work as required. Not sure on the Android 8 comments but i suspect it works fine as there isn't a certificate on the transparent filtering currently and surely this issue is going to be present for all filtering systems as MANY use a intermediate certificate. I agree with all of the above. RM Broadband is fantastic. We moved in November and no issues so far migration was very smooth and all engineers i have dealt with have been very helpful and kept you informed off progress. Firewall requests have been quick - I've logged 3 this week all dealt with in less than 24 hours. Filtering as people have said is limited but does serve a purpose. We use Lightspeed on top so haven't had too much to do with the Safetynet filtering. Dean.

We've just signed with AccessIT and will be migrating over the Summer! Looks miles better than MLS and is hosted and HTML based rather than silverlight! Was very similar in price to MLS and has the benefit of being hosted.

Question - How do you get parental consent to share there data with the SIMS parental app or are they registering for it so therefore they are consenting at that point as obviously if we are pushing their data up to the cloud to Capita land then this is a data protection issue .... Hi, no the upgrade pushes out fine to existing agents. It's only if the agents are broken/appearing offline despite the machine being online or are not installed such as a newly built/imaged machine that I've got issues.

How can they login in school to look at Options Online where social media is blocked? I'm assuming it needs access to Facebook/Twitter to authenticate etc.

Is anyone else having issues with new SOLUS Installs since the upgrade to Hitman Pro - When we push SOLUS to a new machine it just sits on the 'install active' and never completes. Remove Sophos Intercept X, Reboot, try again and it works so looks like another potential intercept X issue. Anyone else getting the same?

Yes only started occurring in the last couple of weeks so something has changed with Solus/Sophos Intercept X to cause this issue. It only affects newly rebuilt machines. We haven't had any updates so can't say it is causes issues with updates either.

We are also having this issue and have a call logged with Sophos. As yet we haven't received anything back from Sophos but Capita have confirmed it is Intercept X causing the problem. Dean.

@speakercon I am interested in doing a DIY paxton install as well - Mind if i ask how much all the bits you need costed? It would also be good to know how long install takes. We where quoted about £1000 per door by a professional local installer!

What about third party systems that pull photos out of SIMS such as Show My Homework etc?

We are with Overnet Data and have a Moodle VLE it does all we need and more! Messaging, Edulink app which integrates with SIMS for timetable, behaviour etc information. Parents also have access to behaviour/achievement/attendance data - All customisable! Pulls SIMS groups out MIS and enrols on courses - Year end procedure then unenrols previous groups and enrols the new groups. Everything that we used to have to do manually now happens automatically overnight and it isn't that badly priced compared to what we have paid in the past for VLE/Integration etc etc.
