It took a bit of time when we did ours... I expected it to disappear as soon as we'd generated the new one etc... but I think ours took a day to 'refresh' itself. my 2p

the pictures seem to show a DMX output on each bar, which is quite sensible as then its easier to put 'intelligent' lanterns on the bars as well as a mains supply via the 16A connectors (blue). The lighting bars are called 'pre-wired' bars, in that the lighting circuits are run 'inside' the tubes to the sockets mounted on them. The thick cable running from the metal box on each bar are the circuits from the bar going off to the dimmers. If you can follow where the big cables go... its most likely they'll go to where the dimmers are. If they go up into the ceiling above the tiles, you're a bit stuffed...! Especially if you can't lift a tile to have a look, and they look 4-5m above the floor. Beyond that, its going to be asking caretakers, previous AV Techs, Drama teachers etc where the dimmers are. good luck...

I doubt the dimmers are up in the ceiling though... They're usually in a 'cupboard somewhere near the stage. The dimmers then feed the variable mains voltage up to the lights on the bars. If you can find the dimmer room / cupboard, then plugging the desk into them directly is going to be your first step I think.

i'm not sure you're aware or not and i apologise if you are... DMX cabling is usually 3 core, but the plugs are 5 pin XLR... (but you can get DMX in 3 pin XLR, usually on the cheaper DMX lanterns etc.) Pin 1 is earth, pins 2 and 3 are the 'data' lines. my 2p

A quick look at your lighting fixtures and they all look 'analog' and are supplied from dimmers. There don't appear to be any LED lights up there, only profile and fresnel lanterns and some parcans. As others have said, you need to bypass all the 'internal' cabling and test the desk plugged directly into the 1st dimmer pack. DMX works by being daisy chained from one thing to the next. In your case, i suspect its just the dimmer packs are daisy chained together and then a long lead goes to where your wall points are. If it all works when plugged directly into the dimmers, then its the internal cabling at fault. If it doesn't work, then you need to try to borrow a simple dmx tester or small 6 channel desk to see if that makes the lights come on. If that works, your desk is the issue. Some dimmers have test buttons where you can turn on the lights directly from the dimmers. hope that helps.

another thumbs up for signinapp...! We use it across our 3 sites and at 3 primaries, all on the one instance. Office staff can be setup as portal users to do the monitoring and produce the fire alarm list if necessary. Very configurable, just buy the labels for the printer in bulk...

Forgive me being old fashioned, but i presume the use of a loudspeaker isn't suitable for this application...? Shared space etc...? amazon do these 5 channel headphone amps so two of them might work, being fed by a splitter from the headphone out? The worse issue will probably be cable managemnet as the leads are bound to get tangled... and students are bound to turn up/down other students volume levels...

you can go expensive with this one but its still a rail kit with a small lip on each side the UPS sits on... or the cheaper version here or what we've done in the past is to put it on a full width shelf in the rack..? my 2p

You might need the raid controller drivers from the dell support site so the OS install can 'see' the drives as I suspect your raid controller is 'hiding' the drives... You'll need to configure that first i think. You may be able to set the SSD to not be on the raid card and use that as your OS drive? Then configure the other 2 drives on the raid? On our servers, we had to configure the raid setup first so that the OS could then 'see' the drives... we used 2 drives for the OS as a mirror and then the remaining 3 drives were raid 5. Once that was setup, then the OS installer could 'see' the raid drives as 2 'virtual' drives. my 2p

On our IP Office setup, we add the hunt group number to the 'source numbers' tab of a user. So for group number 1005, you add H1005 to the source numbers tab of the user, alongside their own voicemail number. Save the IP office config, this should just be a 'merge' to save the settings, so no downtime / reboot needed. Then on the handset of the user, press 'message' and the hunt group should appear in the list. Hope that helps.

I'd have a quick look at https://www.intofilm.org/ Its an online resource for education and whilst it doesn't have recent blockbusters etc... it had Romeo and Juliet when our English dept we're looking for an 'online' version. We've used Microsoft Stream here for other videos (self made) as a repository etc... but now Stream has been 'improved' and is now just treated as a 'file' living in your sharepoint system. It might be worth pointing out that use of home or 'personal' Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts (and others) is not allowed in education environments as it goes against the terms and conditions of the respective companies. Resources might be on Youtube and that would work in education.

As other people have plugged their vehicles into you caravan and the caravan lights work, that seems to prove the caravan works... Have you been able to plug your vehicle into somebody else's caravan / trailer? To prove your vehicle wiring. The testers used by garages tend to be LED based, so don't draw much current and are not definitive. Some cars need special 'boxes' to keep the vehicle electrics 'happy' with the 'bulb failure' warnings etc, especially with modern LED car lighting, when using a trailer. Gone are the days of just splicing into the wiring to fit a trailer socket. Does your caravan have LED lighting for the tail / indicator lights? or normal bulbs? It could be your car isn't 'seeing' the caravan. When its connected, is the caravan battery (if fitted) getting charged by the car engine? Does the caravan show its getting power in any way.?

Our Trust gives governors their own email account and we set up a SharePoint site for them. Staff governors use their own email or have a separate account if they wish. On the SharePoint site the document library has special permissions for each school so that only governors from each school see their own documents and the general shared docs. To make setting permissions easier, i used SharePoint groups. You could use a MS Team and a private channel for each school as that would achieve the same results. In the address book, we append '(GOV)' to each user to make them 'stand out' from other users. You can probably do things with the GAL or just hide them from the address book.

I don't think you can... If the file needs to be in Teams, i goto Teams and create the file there in the web app. Rename it something sensible as it seems to be 'document1' otherwise. The open the file again (we default to the web version for Teams) and then in the web app, choose to open it in the Desktop app.. From then on, it should appear as a frequent file and just 'saves' to the team... my 2p

We migrated our videos to Teams / SharePoint as it looked like that Microsoft just wanted to treat video files just like any other file... We made a 'Stream' Team and put all the videos there with channels for each faculty and only Teachers had access...

It might be me... but I thought that was the way with the MS web apps... you 'print' in the web app, it produces a PDF that you download / open and then print to the devices attached printers using the PDF viewer (Adobe / Edge etc) If you need more printing control... get the document to open in the desktop apps and then you get the usual printing options. Apologies if i've got the wrong end of the stick...

Yes... we're using the client version 3.8.1.4. Much easier than trying to use a web browser.. Edge in IE mode is a tad flaky... I assumed you were using the browser when you made the comment...
