When you were born, you were the: 5,017,499,171st person alive on Earth 79,930,499,930th person to have lived since history began Does that clear it up for you gentlemen? -
If you're just doing basic writing, try using MS Paint or other basic drawing programs you might have installed. If only to determine if it's software (Activ*) or something else. When we've had similar problems with writing in ActivStudio/Inspire, a complete re-install of the software usually sorts it out.

Ah yes, of course, the effect on prices. Forgot about that angle - good point CyberNerd. -

Instil fear into the makers of handsets that choose to use Android, in the hope that it will frighten them enough to stop using it. Results in several things, including less Android handsets in the market, and a feeling of fear among other manufacturers who already make Android handsets (are we next?) and potential makers (dare we use Android now? we may be the next target too). Bar stewards. I like how Google gave HTC some of their patents to defend themselves against Apple with though. Good move -

An utterly amazing story. Quite possibly the best 11m 30s you'll spend today.

Fantastic. What a brilliant and positive, but uncommon attitude to take considering the injustice he's endured -
Custom PHP script + CouchDB database that syncs AD accounts with Zimbra.

Nice one. Hope it works out - sounds very good indeed!

I had you down as more of a "Raw commands via telnet" person Gmail all the way for personal use. Zimbra at the school.

Clarks. Current pair are over 2 and a half years old now.

Even in that situation, there's always one (or a handful of) user who didn't bother to read the email, forgot about it, or thought it didn't apply to them.

Add an entry to your /etc/hosts file mapping zimbra.company.com to the IP of the Zimbra server you're setting up. This is my hosts file: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 172.16.0.13 bbs-zcs-001.example.internal bbs-zcs-001 172.16.0.13 mail.example.com mail bbs-zcs-001 is the internal hostname, and mail.example.com is the hostname as it is known to the outside world.

The BS is that if you tell your "insecure" browser (Opera) to pretend it's IE9, then it miraculously passes the test. So it's not actually testing the security of the browser. It's looking at the User Agent string and telling you that non-IE9 browsers are less secure than IE9. Additionally, I reckon there are other numerous security features that Opera, Firefox and Chrome have that IE don't, which MS aren't bothering to include.

Need To Select White Space In Picture And Make It Transparent
webman replied to 6Foot2's topic in How do you do....it?
Open in Paint.NET (free). Use Magic Wand tool to select the white area. Delete -OR- Invert selection so non-white area is chosen - the border, then copy and paste. If you get stuck, link to the file and I can do it for you. -
Metropolis Had the pleasure of seeing that last year at the Tyneside Cinema - it was really good
